"Swimmingly. I interviewed quite a number of HVAC companies for this job by sending out an RPF (Request for Proposal), and Bob Mamayek was unquestionably the most thorough in his on-site evaluation. Installation crew was fantastic. This is a small shop, and it was a true pleasure to have a team of regular guys just getting the job done. I recommend them without reservation. I almost gave them a B for responsiveness because Bob doesn't do a lot of email, but I realized while typing that this would be completely unfair, for two reasons. A) Bob might not respond to email with email, but he did always respond with a phone call. Frankly, that is better on many counts. B) This ignores the amazing response to my RPF, which was both timely and thorough. So, really, this says more about my email-centric life than Mamayek's responsiveness."

I wanted to hire Fast Air but my house is not a standard type of house and the brand of furnace I wanted didn't come in the right size for the house. "Everything went very well. They were quick to respond by phone and quick to come out for an estimate. I asked a lot of questions and all were answered politely and professionally. After getting several estimates from different companies, I decided on A Better Way. Costs were all pretty much the same, but I was impressed with their professionalism and that they are a local company. They also had the best guarantee for parts and service, 5 years. One thing to note that I learned from all of the companies estimates, is that parts and service does not mean totally free. All companies charge a trip fee if you do need service. But ABW was slightly cheaper. After I called to confirm, they were able to install 2 days later. Installation went smoothly and no surprises (costs). I've been running the air conditioner almost consistently for a few weeks and have not had any problems."

"Awesome! We have never felt more comfortable and satisfied hiring a contractor! Brian came out within a day or two to look over the project, and then within another few days had a written quote! This was a huge project, and they handled it like no one else could. We interviewed 3 other companies and hands down, chose Arctic Air. Within a weeks time, they had removed 2- 250 gallon oil tanks, filled with oil mind you, took out the old oil furnace, replaced with a new gas furnace, and installed air conditioning! Not an easy task on a 125 year old home! Will definitely recommend to everyone!"
