"Prompt arrival of technician (local manager). On inspecting the two doors he determined that they were of advanced age. One door worked well enough. The problem door needed bracing at the top and one of the electronic eyes at the bottom needed replacement. Initially it was not realized, by the technician, that I had the upgrade package, but that got straightened out. He felt that what he could do would get me through for a while. As the house is being sold and I am relocating, I would have no further need of their services."

Their price was fair to replace both springs so we moved forward with the work, which was completed the next day. They told me my opener is 15 years old but still runs well, so I had them price replacing it. The cost was very reasonable, so I will have them out next month to take care of that! Overall this was a great experience, from the first call, to getting an estimate, and a proper fix to cap it all l off! I will definitely be calling them for any garage door needs in the future."

"Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Gabriel & Gale (G&G) Better Business promptly returned my call to set up an appointment. Gabriel came out, found the leak and promptly sealed the leak. Gabriel explained where the leak was and took digital photos of the before and after repair. I liked the promptness of returning my call and fixing the leak the same day Gabriel came out. I am going to have him give me an estimate on a deck replacement job at my other house.
