(Really this Company has impressed us from the beginning!) always quick to respond and very patient…. There was zero pressure …. no pushy sales tactics at all — just good information, very clear explanations, and genuine care. He took the time to answer questions, explain good options, and made us feel comfortable and valued as people, not just potential customers. From the very beginning, And even now after James has been yet kind and incredibly understanding of our situation. Unfortunately We are not able to move forward with our basement project at this time, and James has showed nothing but grace and respect about that. "Water proofing very good results. BUT Caution regarding floor repair from ANY contractor. Make sure you discuss what the floor repair will look like. Mine is not level, and Much rougher Than original floor. Another contractor said it was better than He typically sees. This was done several years ago. Sorry about the late review."

"Beware: Overbilling, bait-and-switch, and Miscommunication I hired Groundworks (Saint Paul, MN) in June 2025 for a combined structural support and waterproofing project at my home. The project was advertised as a complete solution to address foundation wall deterioration and structural support. What happened: The contract and engineered plans explicitly called for cast-in-place (CIP) footings for each I-beam and a vapor barrier. I paid for these as part of the $70,000 project. After the work was completed, I discovered the CIP footings, vapor barrier, and other items were not installed, despite being billed and included in the plans. The installed I-beam system does not support the weight of the house, only lateral wall movement. This was not explained during the sales process. When I asked for clarification, I was told ?site conditions vary from the plans,? but no specific conditions were identified. Revised as-built plans were submitted instead after I raised concerns "

"Eric and Carl took care of a leak into my basement coming in through cracks the mortar. He used a silicone solution to create a barrier preventing future leaks and put up new drywall in just a couple of visits. Eric was very easy going and I was comfortable with him in my home. Carl was my dogs favorite contractor. Sorry Eric! Highly recommend Ericâ s company, they are great to work with and flexible as well which was a plus!"

"Safe Basements have been a complete joy to work with, the customer service was professonal and friendly. The assesser was honest, no up selling or down selling. They finished the project 2 weeks after booking. The workmen were effiecent, made sure to cover everything so nothing got covered with dust, they even swept! It got done in exactly the time required and the basement has never looked better. If you need basement work, I couldn't recommend anyone higher."

"They completed it in 2 days and I havent had an issue since the basement was waterproofed. However, they did forget to plan the initial inspection prior to the work as part of the permit. The city I live in ended up reaching out near the end of the permit date and I didnt know about it until then. I reached out to the project manager for my project at Acculevel about it and they did handle that issue promptly."

"The project eventually got finished. Might have been a little more complicated to get started on as it required the city and contractor to communicate seeing as it was a city renovation program. Things I?d like to go better is cleanup and mitigation of dust. It was limited to whatever steps I took. The pump has to be reset 1 to 2!times through a span of 60 days or so. Not sure if that?s normal and to be honest I haven?t yet reached out or looked into this on my side. Aside from that Mr Brown was easy to talk to and respectful as was his workers. When the work finally started to was down quickly. There were parts that could have gone better but it could have gone worse. I won?t say I wouldn?t recommend them at the same time I think there?s something?s that could definitely improve upon. And to add it did pass City of Plymouth inspection and their requirements for the program. I?ll have a better idea of how this works out in the future."
