They also only sent one person initially so I helped bring the old unit down and the new one up in between trying to work. "The a/c unit stopped cooling late in the day on 7/3 (of course, holiday coupled with record high temperatures). I left a voice mail with Carl Tucci and he returned it at 0800 on 7/5 (I had not categorized this as an emergency). His technician came out and troubleshot the unit and concluded the installed start/run capacitor had failed on the compressor side. He did not have an exact replacement on the truck so he installed (as a temporary measure) a second capacitor for the compressor. Sometime during the early morning hours the next day, the air conditioning unit stopped running again. I left another voice mail with Carl and he very quickly had his technician at my house with the needed (permanent) capacitor. He installed the capacitor and did a general check of the system. He Determined it was working fine. He informed me that Carl had told him and quot;no chargeand quot; for the second visit. I can tell you from personal experience this is very unusual. Several hours after the tech left, Carl called to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I am more than satisfied. I feel like for the first time I didn't get ripped off by a repairman. I would (and intend to) recommend All Phase Mechanical to my friends.
