"Overall, I am happy with the results. This was a repair due to damage caused by a tenant, not a complete remodel. As a PS to the below original review, after the contracted work was completed and paid for, a leak developed in the kitchen ceiling which is over the bathroom. When I described the situation, Darren assessed the problem. It wasn't an emergency; he came to the house within a few days and quickly repaired the problem. He honored the one-year guarantee on his work. Job and Result: I got three bids - Renew It's was the least expensive by several thousand dollars. The primary bathroom and closet needed a lot of work. The bathroom now looks like it was remodeled (really nice) and the closet is simple and efficient, leaving room for additional shelving and storage. The painted areas look fresh and clean. Darren, the contact and project manager for this job, brought several floor samples. One was just what I wanted and happily was the least expensive. He was very accommodating with the extras added to the original estimate and was always very responsive to calls and texts. He even went to some stores, such as Home Depot, to purchase some of the supplies that I was supposed to have picked up. That was very helpful to me. There was a lot of dust and small debris; when I brought that to his attention, he provided a woman who did a nice job cleaning, dusting, and mopping. That was a nice touch. Also, I have in writing that the installations are guaranteed for one year, which provides a lot of confidence. Other Issues: Throughout the job, I noticed work that was either not done or needed fixing. We needed several walkthroughs which is not unusual, but a number of the items I noticed should have been caught before the walkthroughs; and even after that, I found one or two minor things I'd missed. Ultimately, there should have been more attention to detail, which would have alleviated the need for so many walkthroughs and made the job completion quicker. HOWEVER, when all is said and done, I am still very happy with how everything looks and would use Renew It again."
