"Called action plumbing when my water heater started leaking in my house. They got someone out to my house within a couple hours to find out what was wrong. Jeremy was very nice and explained to me that the unit was so old we would need to replace it. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast he was able to get it replaced as I was worried we would be without hot water for a while. The customer service was phenomenal and the whole process was super smooth. Action plumbing took my urgency seriously and was happy to help."

"This company reached out to us right away and scheduled for our tank to be pumped out the next day. Surprisingly for us, they called and came out the same day. Their team of excellence got the job done efficiently and got our septic working again. I would highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs."

"Drilled my well on a new home build they came out a month early and drilled just to make sure the well was ready when the home was completed. After the electricity was installed the electrician had questions about the wiring so I called them and Dan (owner) instead of trying to tell the electrician over the phone was at my house within 20 mins to make sure everything was right. After powering up the capacitor was humming (normal) but Dan was not satisfied and installed another new panel. 100% satisfied. They go above and beyond, it is nice to see a company that cares about their customers."

FAQs for well pump installation and replacement projects in Phoenix, AZ

Signs that your well pressure tank requires replacement include inconsistent water pressure, your pump turning on and off frequently (known as short cycling), visible leaks around the tank, or unusual noises from your well system. Physical damage, corrosion, or a tank that's reached its seven to 10-year expected lifespan may also indicate it's time for replacement. When multiple issues arise simultaneously, replacement often proves more economical than attempting repairs.

The timeframe for professional well pressure tank replacement varies depending on your specific system and any complications that might arise during installation. Factors that can affect installation time include accessibility of your current tank, whether additional components need replacement, and the complexity of your well system. For precise timing expectations, consult with the professional handling your installation.

Attempting to replace your well pressure tank involves several potential risks, including improper pressure calibration that could damage your pump, contamination of your water supply, and physical injury from handling heavy equipment. Additionally, incorrect installation might lead to water leaks, property damage, or system inefficiency. Many manufacturers also specify that professional installation is required to maintain warranty coverage, making the $125 to $200 professional installation fee a worthwhile investment for most homeowners.
