"A couple of weeks ago, we noticed a faint smell of gas from our fireplace. We checked Google for contractors, as one does, and found Lil Joeâ s. Joe was available to come out that day to address the smell and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure the leak was fixed. He added a shutoff valve to the fireplace gas line in the basement, and replaced the inner workings of the fireplace itself. We then proceeded to order gas logs from Joe and he installed those just last week. His prices are fair, he is extremely clean, and his work is fantastic. I would suggest Lil Joeâ s to anyone that is in need of a gas fireplace install or maintenance!"

"Went OK. They did the work and it 'mostly worked' when they were done. I say mostly because the pressure valve was blowing off of the boiler when they were done (This was NOT happening before they had done the work). I had noticed this the day after I had paid. I contacted them and they wanted to replace the expansion tank and charge me $200. I asked - shouldn't this be covered under the initial work of $4600? They said the part wasn't explicitly in the quote. Frankly at this point to replace what really was a $40 part and half hour of time to do a fully finished job (for $4600). For 1. How am I supposed to know (as a customer) what should be on the quote for a fully finished job (pumps, piping, etc? - they are the expert) 2. How am I supposed to know this isnt their fault. (Shouldnt an autofilling expansion tank be connected to the incoming water supply?) Frankly not standing fully behind their work and making sure they do everything to do a good, finished job - left a 'bad' taste in my mouth. In the end I replaced the auto-filling expansion tank with an Extrol expansion tank for $40 and it took me less than an hour. After that it all appears to work."

"Very professional and courteous. Talked me through the whole process and costs, including estimated time and fee for diagnosis to estimated repair costs and completion time. Communicate very well through the whole process by first telling you when they will call to give you the diagnosis and then the completion estimate. And when the work is completed you get a head-up call (or in my case, I chose text) so you can plan your time for pickup. They stick to their fee estimate, as long as what they quoted is what actually is wrong and fixed. I liked the service so much I added on a full LOF and wiper blade change. And a month later I brought in the car to fix the A/C actuator and a broken hood support (pneuamatic), and once again, very professional, prompt and communicative. Will use again for regular car maintenance, and their pricing was reasonable for all the work that needed to be done between both jobs."

we had a memorial day weekend planned for projects, which included turning the in-ground sprinkling on for the first time this spring, and we had a leak in the pipes, inside the boiler room, inside the house....very stressful,...until we remembered we have bobl!



we called bob, who answered on the first phone call, and our stress was taken care of.  bob and matt came out the same day, fit us in on their busy schedule, to help us out. 



same as our first review, we couldn't be happier with bob's complete construction.  i think his company name says it all, we have complete faith that he can do, or fix, any thing and he answers his phone when you need someone too!!!



i do feel like i need to say that i gave bob an A for punctuality because i wanted him to get the great rating that he deserves, but you should be prepared that he is not punctual....we look at it like a valued family doctor....the professionals that want to do the best job for you and actually care about it never run on time, but you love them above all others because you know the reason they are running late is that they treat every client like they are the most important one and take the time to make you feel that way as well as doing their job to the very best of their abilities.  so, i gave a false 5 star review for bob on the punctuality thing because we are pretty certain that he's not super punctual because he's staying at the job before you until it is done, and he's going to do the same thing for you!  he is worth the wait, and the reason is that when you have an emergency, or an unexpected challenge with a  project,or any project you would like done, he's going to be there for you and be dedicated to helping you out.  our experience has been that he is a very hard-working, honest professional that is great to work with!"
