"Did a great job replacing our water heater"

"We had our water softener replaced and it went so smoothly. David and his son did great work and were very flexible with our schedule!"

"After buying a water heater at Menards and getting it home, I called Plumb-it Inc about 1:30 p.m on a Monday. I think it was Scott who answered (no recorder!) and he said he could have 2 guys out to our house within 45 minutes to install it. The job went so smooth. They did arrive within 45 minutes. The 2 guys were very knowledgeable about installing a heater. They were efficient, quiet, polite and cleaned up afterwards. They also took the old heater and the box the new heater came in. What more could we ask for? They did everything we expected."

"They were very responsive and able to replace my water heater quickly. I was given several options for the replacement. Lenny was excellent"

"I called Dorian to replace our water heater. He came out that day and relaxed our water heater and adjusted some pipes. He was very professional and most importantly honest and reasonable with his pricing. I would highly recommend him."

"Victor installed a 40 gallon gas water heater. Victor gave me options during the estimate. Victor installed the gas water heater the same day. Victor was very professional during the whole process. I will probably hire Perma-seal again If all employees at Perma-seal are like Victor."

"Scott responded quickly to the initial service call and his crew showed up on time once we agreed on the deal and schedule the appointment. I was out of town so he worked well through phone calls, texts, and photos and then with my family who was home to provide access to the house. He quoted a competitive price to replace our gas water heater and rearrange the gas line to solve a leak and to fit the new water heater better into the available space. He was straight about what was included and what would be extra in his quote. After his crew left we had some concerns that did not meet our expectations. Scott got immediately personally involved; he scheduled a crew to return a few days later (our concerns were for nothing urgent) and put everything right. We ended up with a small extra charge, which we had expected and was fair and reasonable, to get the gas line configured to our satisfaction. My experience after many years of working with others on projects like this: Scott is a stand up guy with a solid customer service philosophy, a commitment to quality product and craftmanship; he provides fair and honest quotes for only what is needed - no upselling. I will use Plumb-IT again, if needed,"

"The service itself went well. The technician was on time and friendly. The price was ridiculous. They charged me $500 to change some filters and clean and inspect a system they installed. There was a leak in the system they installed, so they fixed that. The technician was at my house for a little over an hour. Even if they charge $150 for labor, that means the filters were $350?!? no way. Every time they come to my house they try to hard sell me on a new water softener. I know it's old, but it works fine. They've been trying to sell me a new one for 8 years! I'll buy a new one when this one quits working. They constantly threaten that it's going to break and cause water to leak and backup. Stop with the hard sell. It seems like they have a monopoly on the market in the northwest burbs. They know this and jack up the prices accordingly."
