Am unsure at this point if I made the right decision on the service provider. Time will tell I guess. They were also the most expensive of the three service providers in my area, and unwilling to match or negotiate the installation prices of the other two service providers. "The agent arrived on time and clearly explained the options. The installation went as planned and the water softening system works well, but it took a week for the hole in the yard left by the installers to be filled in. A call was required to get them to have the system inspected for a permit and finish the job. As a result, I have a large patch of dead grass."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

While he was there, I mentioned that my shower wasn’t getting very hot, and he immediately looked into the plumbing and fixed some of the settings. When checking the shower after making the adjustments, he noticed that the sink faucets were crooked and let me know that he could fix them easily, as well. I’ve also been wanting a reverse osmosis water filter for the whole house, which he said he could do, and even walked me through more affordable alternatives. The price for the reverse osmosis system was far less than I expected, so I ended up going with that. I decided to change the look of the faucets and shower head too, and he helped me understand what options I needed to look for in order to work with our plumbing and will be back to install them all. Everything was so easy and affordable, I will definitely be using PG Plumbing again in the future."
