"If you don't hire Todd and his crew - Evan and Eric - you may have missed an opportunity to spend your money in the right place. <br /> I always had a direct line to Todd, who set expectations well throughout every phase of the project. The team was super professional and most importantly courteous and kind.  In the bid process Todd helped us envision what was actually possible within our budget and provided examples of previous work. He also took the time to look under the house to the crawl space to see what plumbing and core structural issues with the home may impede the overall project. Turns out that was a critical structural issue that they solved as well as getting that side of the house leveled out. There were slides in the timeline here and there, but Todd did a great job of explaining all the dynamics influencing schedule. When changes needed to be made, they were done as smoothly as possible. Every day - especially when there were potential safety issues with the work area - they left the house clean and let us know what to expect for the next day or two. There were a lot of great things, but probably three that I'll highlight were when we picked the granite slab, the garage doors issue, and the effort they put into finishing the job when we had an unexpected bereavement in the family. <br /> For the granite pick, we were initially supposed to pick two slabs, but Todd gave us the option of picking one and cutting off 2" from the width of the island. So we picked one and saved a whole lot of money and put it toward a other issues like raising the left side of the house and seriously needed garage repair. <br /> The house has two standard single garage doors. When we moved in, the wall between the doors had structurally become unsafe and the doors themselves were falling off the hinges. It represented a serious safety issue and I had gotten estimates of more than $10K to fix it alone. Todd wrapped this into the project at dramatically minimal cost and the results are perfect. <br /> Finally the overall project was about 80% finished when we heard my grandmother passed. The very next day the crew came in and brought everything to 98% (2% super small cosmetic stuff) so that I could host out of town family. They didn't have to but they also helped us move everything back into the house from the garage and stayed late to boot. <br /> There were a lot of other details I liked, so feel free to email/call Todd and get our contact information for a reference.
