At first, we met with Ron that came over and met with us about the issues that we had with our water heater and with the bills that we currently pay for electric. Ron recommended us to replace the bulky old water heater and to install a tankless system that will supply hot water immediately and with the use of less gas. We liked that idea and we decided to go for this project. Ron came over to our house with his 2 people that basically took care of all the removal and the installation of the new system. "After purchasing a Big Deal, I played phone tag trying to get an appointment.  Then I let the coupon sit until it almost expired.  I was able to get in touch and schedule an appointment immediately.  The crew arrived on timely and was very polite and professional.  While I have 2 a/c units, we chose to only do one (the second was not included on the coupon).  I got a lot of good advice about a/c filters and our ductwork.  I was told there was some mold (this is Houston) but that it could not be cleaned without a special appointment.  All the dust/dirt was cleaned. We discussed the pros/cons of replacing the ductwork as it is old.  This is something we have been in discussions with our regular a/c service provider about.  When it came to the dryer vent - the reason is was so dirty is that there was a gaping hole.  The service rep carefully explained what I needed to replace it, sent my son out to purchase it at Home Depot, then waited for his return to install the new one. 
I was happy that they asked about pets.  I have a 17 year old dog who still likes to escape and everyone was mindful of her silently slipping towards the open front door.

"They came out and noticed that there was a low charge on the heat pump and noticed that there was some corrosion on some of the pipes so they figured there may be a leak in the system. As a result I will be getting a new unit altogether that is covered by the home warranty that Choice has provided. The only out of pocket cost that I need to pay for is any modifications and fabrication that needs to happen to integrate the new system. So in total I am paying $550 for a $5000 system."
