George came right on time, within 1 day of call, quickly diagnosed the problem and installed new springs. One was broken, but he said the other was in poor condition and should also be replaced. "I used Home Advisor late Tuesday afternoon to find a contractor. Brian called me immediately to confirm my needs and provide pricing. He also advised that he could have a technician at my home on Saturday to replace the door. I called Brian on Wednesday morning to confirm the install. He checked door and parts availability and told me he would have a technician at my home by mid-afternoon. Brett (technician) called me at 3:30 to tell me he was running a little behind but would arrive at 4:30. He arrived on time and immediately began removing the existing door and installing the new door. He was finished by 5:30. I had an existing opener on another door that was causing problems. Brett looked at it and determined that it needed to be replaced. He finished replaced the opener in less than an hour and was on his way by 6:30. Both Brian and Brett represented American Garage Door in grand fashion and I would highly recommend this company and their service to all that have issues with garage doors and / or openers. "We live in Cape Coral. We experienced the eye of the much-televised slow-moving hurricane Ian. The deviation was widespread. Many houses were washed away. On Ft Myers Beach some owners in addition to losing their home, also had their property washed away. In the middle of this disaster, there were many charlatans from all over the country that came in for the "feeding". We chose CTG as our contractor. Dealing with the insurance was Frustrating. We had 6 different insurance adjusters. Some of our friends got Public "adjusters" to help them get money for their repairs from the insurance companies. Once you sign with a Public Adjustor, you lose control of the process. CTG acted as our Public Adjustor and got more money for the repairs that required it. But they do not charge for that service. Jason Turner told me that is what they do. That is their job. Public Adjusters slow down the prices and charge a percentage of everything you get from your insurance company. Getting supplies to do the work was a nightmare. Home Depot and the other supplies kept running out of supplies. CTG did what had to be done. They would drive with their vehicles where they needed to go to get building supplies. Be it Tampa, Miami, or wherever. The quality of their work was top-notch."

"Following the proposal which we accepted, the entire project from beginning to end was completed in timely and professional
manner.  The crew who was assigned to this job worked daily until they had completed that portion of the project which had
been undertaken for that day.  When they left each evening you would had know anyone had been at our residence working.
There was a couple of modifications to the house to accommodate the installation of the sliding glass doors and the french 
doors.  Everything was done by the crew from Florida Lifetime and the stucco contractor in a very professional manner.
