Part cost was $215.00 or so and I researched the part and it only costs $40.00 new but I have zero experience with hvac and I am paying for their expertise plus they had the part etc. it costs what it costs and if you know about these things then yea it would be much less but it is less than a whole new system. I would call them again and there seems to be a wide variety of opinions on internet about that cost but they are a big company and I am paying for their expertise just like my clients pay for mine.

"Paul was great. He thoroughly examined the necessary repairs even discovering a problem that I was having with a strong odor coming from under a bathroom counter. Apparently the installer of my bathroom counter did not seal the pipes properly causing a slow leak and resulting in mold developing under the cabinet. In addition, Paul explained what needed to be done before hand for all repairs, offered options depending on how much you want to spend on materials, took time to listen about my concerns and answer any questions that I had. I will definitely be calling Paul again for all future plumbing issues."
