Franco who does the scheduling is very accommodating, and kept me informed if the technicians were late. Frank and Richard (their Sr technicians) definitely know their stuff, and pleasant to talk to. "Terrific experience. Scheduling was easy. My technician, Guy, gave me a call ahead of time, hit the time he said he'd be here and was courteous and efficient. I ran a large mechanical contracting business for years so understand this business. Guy ran through his checks on what is a fairly complex home system. He pointed out problems that were minor, major, or had the potential to be major. We discussed options and timing. Since our system is old, it will be difficult to repair some of the parts and pieces while others would be fairly standard. We may want to look at a new system this summer to avoid a major problem during a future heating season. I will definitely be talking to Sila."

"Tech came out, replaced this with a brand new section, and also added a piece of wood to help level the radiator. Work was performed via a home warranty service, so only fee paid was the deductible. Tech was on time, very professional and was generally pleasant towards my tenant and I during the procedure. Don't recall the exact time required, but I don't believe it was more than 2 hrs."

"Diagnosis and repair were straightforward and the talented Mike, who has done other great work for us on our ACs, had a replacement pump in his truck. Swapped over in under an hour. Cost of the repair was quite high, mainly due to very high price they charged for the pump. A Taco pump that I could buy for $175 was priced on this repair at more than $500. I get that it was an urgent situation and I’m happy to pay reasonably for the response but that mark-up bothered me. I called the office, had a long talk with the owner; sadly, she offered no consideration at all. Yes, it’s hard to find and keep skilled techs, but now seems that most HVAC firms have a business model like a car dealer’s service dept, far more corporate, less flexible or customer-considerate."

"Atlantic Heating & Air Conditioning responded professionally and quickly to my call. A service technician diagnosed the problem and ordered the a new gas valve and two sensors. A second technician, replaced the defective parts and serviced the boiler. Both technicians performed their work in a very professional manner, identified the source of the problem and clearly explained what was needed. I was impressed with their work and would definitely hire them again."

"I am a long time customer who pays Rodenheiser a monthly fee which covers annual maintenance and some priority in the event of any necessary repair required. I had an a/c compressor failure. I had to wait 3 weeks to have a technician visit and tell me that the unit’s motor was dead and the compressor needed replacement. Then, after ordering a new compressor, which was available within 3-4 days I was scheduled for an installation 3+ weeks later. I had to complain strenuously and threaten to cancel the order to get the installation moved forward to within 10 days. Apparently being a long time customer and paying a monthly fee for better service means absolutely nothing. The installation went well. Not sure about future relationship."
