My test game back at 5.9 pCi/L. The acceptable level is 4. And I wasn't going to chance my family's health. So I did my research on radon mitigation and sent a quote request through Angi's platform. I received a phone call the owner, John Spokis within 30 minutes on the Friday before New Year's. He explained the entire process and provided me transparent pricing over the phone and in writing via email same day. He was able to schedule us that Monday after New Year's. The installer Derek called me an hour before arrival to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, explained the work that was to be performed, reviewed the location with me and made sure I approved of everything before he started. The installation itself took about two hours. "I thought he did a good job explaining what he did do but very disappointed they didn't explain that you had to pay a lot extra money to actually find out what kind of mold if any you had. The $199.00 fee they only looked for mold & tested the air quality. If they found any mold it cost a lot more to find out what type. He did say we had mold in our crawl space but not what kind, that cost more money. Overall good for what he did do."

"The guys were on time, cheerful, thorough, and and got the job done. They were thoughtful about my cat, too. The 'sanitization' stuff they sprayed did smell for a few days, despite my airing out the house with the windows open, but it did eventually go away. And they must have gotten a lot of dust out because my children (who are usually very sneezy with the dust pumping through our house) have seemed much better since the ducts got cleaned. Very happy with the service. I used an Angie's List "deal" for the service--I was in a hurry to get it done (my kids had dropped some art supplies down a vent that were making clicking noised that were driving me nuts) so I didn't compare prices at all, I just looked for a company that seemed thorough and they they were. And the clicking sounds of rogue art supplies is gone. Yay!"
