"We used A1 exterminators for several years. In the beginning we used them to change the dehumidifier filters. We started using them because the previous owners had used them to redo the crawl space and install a the humidifier. At some point we also started using them for pest control. We did their Guardian Plan from beginning. The guys they sent over were nice and courteous and always helpful. We were pleased with service until we were selling our home and records of services provided were requested and they refused to give them. We were needing information on if they had caulked some cracks in the foundation when they sealed everything when the dehumidifier was installed. I even had the previous owner call and give them permission to release this information. They accused me of trying to get information out of them that didn't belong to me. Funny thing is, there were absolutely no issues, but they were immediately defensive and accusing me of being in a bad place with our buyers. She talked over me to the point and was so rude, I told her to shut up. That was the end of anything I ever wanted to do with them. Had the owner of this company not been the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I may have left them a good rating. Based on how she treats a customer of 4 or 5 years, I could never recommend them to anyone. Read their reviews yourself. Their bad customer service speaks for itself. When I mentioned this company to the buyers real estate agent, he confirmed that they weren't reputable as did the escrow company that did our closing."

"Use them for a VA loan inspection. There was a small area that had signs of termite damage, the wood around this piece had been replaced years ago, there were holes for treatment all around the house and there was not visable signs of termites. We agreed to have the house treated, it had been a while and they came back in a couple of days and did the treatment. When the report was sent to the VA loan agent they wrote that there was signs of minor termite damage but no proof that it had been previously treated. Our loan officer tried to contact them several times with no luck, in the end the loan officer "waivered" the termite inspection requirement so the re-fi could go through. Very stressful all the way around."

And, while it may not matter to some, it mattered to me - Geoff is a nice, personable guy who I liked having in my home, as was every specialist he chooses to work with. He was respectful of our space, and cleaned up the work space at the end of every day. He was open to adding to his already significant workload with projects that popped up as we were moving in and figuring out how we wanted the house to look. It got to the point that I ran every idea by him and he never once made me feel like I was a bother because he cared and had a vision. About halfway through the initial kitchen/bath/laundry project, we decided to redo the all brick fireplace hearth. Geoff knew exactly what would look perfect, and was able to give us a stone fireplace, with granite mantle without significantly pushing back the timeline. It looks perfect, and he even took into account my dog when choosing the threshold material around the base (because the dog's nails would scratch up a wood piece). Just little things like that, the caring, the attention to detail, the situational awareness that Geoff has makes him the correct choice. He also identified other issues in my home (older home) that could eventually cause issues and offered solutions. Not trying to sell us anything, but just helping us be better home owners and letting us know what to look out for. I am so glad our paths crossed, I can't imagine working with anyone else, and I am so excited work with him on the next project.!"

"Communication was excellent.  Received email followed by a quick phone call.  Someone came out to inspect the 3 small area's of wood rot that I had.  Two were outdoors and one indoors.  After taking a few measurements and pictures, we agreed on a scheduled date and time for the work.  The worker showed up on the agreed time and date, and did excellent work.  I would not hesitate to call again for any future work repairs.  I also talked with them and they do complete bathroom and kitchen remodels as well.  While I personally cannot speak to the quality of that type of work, I would not hesitate to call them for based on my experience with the work they have done for me so far.
