"We were looking into redoing our old deck and got a quote which we thought was reasonable for our large deck. Then for another estimate, we called 7th State Builders. They explained that for the same cost, we could get a paver stone patio (which in the long run is far less maintenance). The owner worked with our budget and the gentlemen who laid our pavers were extremely professional and worked within our wishes. They removed the deck and finished the patio in about a week. Awesome job! After a week or so, it had rain for a period of time and we noticed that a small dip in the patio was collecting a puddle. After a call, they came out and fixed the problem. We would definitely recommend this company for a patio."

"Travis and his team deserve more than 5 stars; we can't say enough positive, good things about our experience! Our yard/landscaped areas had become completely out of control with overgrown shrubs, roots emerging from removed trees, and weeds galore. After speaking with Travis on the phone, he arrived to do a thorough assessment of needs and provided an estimate within a day. He and his team arrived promptly on the scheduled day of service, and worked diligently from early morning till late afternoon, removing and/or trimming bushes/branches, weeding, edging, mulching, and transforming our "jungle" into areas that we can once again enjoy! What an amazing group! Extremely professional, courteous, respectful, and hard-working. We look forward to working with Travis again as we make plans to redesign some of our bedding areas for new planting and continued maintenance. The tree service was excellent, however the landscaping had numerous deficiencies. 

To start,  the office manager rescheduled me two times and did not call to notify me.  I actually lost a day at work due to them assuring me they would be there and after I called to find out where they were, they advised me that they were finishing up another job.

Landscaping work was OK, except for the window boxes built in the front of the house were not constructed the same and the front landscaping was very sloppy work.  Mulching in the back of the house was put down sparingly, as I already have weed block showing.

"We have a finished basement and a crawl space in the storage area of our basement.  We have found after large rain storms recently water has been increasing in our crawl space. After one storm we found over 6 inches of water above the gravel in the crawl space and purchased a temporary pump to pump out the water, discarded the plastic vapor barrier with concern of mold growing on it and began to see seepage through the foundation wall to the basement. 
In order to find a solution we scheduled four appointments with Angie's list highly regarded basement waterproofing contractors.  We were surprised to find that each contractor provided different solutions ranging in cost from $13,814 to $1,950.  We were impressed with Mr. Norfolk's honesty and straight forward approach.  He noted that he could do some of the solutions provided by other contractors with piping systems to a sump pump but suggested to start with a more cost effective solution of just adding a sump pump to the crawl area and replacing the current basement sump pump that was 27 years old.  If additional solutions were needed in the future he could preform them but why spend the extra money at this time if not necessary. The work was performed on February 1st and took two workman 3.5 hours to complete.  The workman explained how the system worked and asked that we please follow up if we had any questions.  The only area I could see improvement was clean up as after they cleaned up I had to again sweep the work area and vacum the carpets covered by their drop cloths. There was also debris and concrete mix left on the driveway.

Cleaned up each day as required and provided high quality work. Looks great. Price was in the ballpark of other estimates from reputable professionals. Would definitely hire again for future work."

"It went extremely well! They were punctual, hardworking and professional. It was necessary to dig up my neighbor's landscaping, so they were very careful to disturb only what was necessary and to restore everything to its original condition. They even replaced her broken underground downspout extension (which was draining into my basement!) without comment or additional charge. When my neighbor accused them of causing a problem, MJ was quick to respond and the team on-site made a point of apologizing to her in person. I don't think MJ caused the problem, so I was very impressed that they "went high" to investigate the matter and, as I said, apologize for the inconvenience she felt she suffered. The work they did inside to remove mold and seal the wall was thorough and neat. The gentleman doing the work cleaned up everything and took all of his equipment and trash with him. his is especially important since he was working with strong chemicals. My contact in the office was prompt to address anything I threw her way. It was easy to make payments online. Best of all - no sign of water in the basement since they were here!!"
