"I needed 2 backflow preventers replaced , a water heater repaired and a to0ilet repaired. I had a quote from a very famous local plumbing/heating company for $4000! I called Doug for a second opinion and he came in at HALF the price!! and that was AFTER I showed him the first quote! He didn't seem surprised at all about the first quote. Not only was he half the price but he pointed out that my 6 year warranty on my water heater had 6 months left and said I could get a new one thru that warranty for $100!!! He took care of going thru the company getting me the new heater. He completed the job in a few hours. I will NEVER call another plumber again! My recommendation is to run, not walk, to get Doug for your needs. On top of that he is so very nice. I would give 10 stars if I could."

"I needed a kitchen faucet replaced. I had the new faucet. When I called Milltown, they said they couldnt give me an estimate over the phone, and had to send someone first to see if they could do the job with my faucet. It would cost $85 to do this, whether or not I hired them. The repairman came at the appointed time, was polite and pleasant, and told me it would cost $419, and this was a standard fee. So, it turns out I could have been given a firm estimate over the phone, and had I been, I would have said no thank you and gone elsewhere. It took less than an hour for the faucet to be replaced. Neurosurgery costs less money per hour. I told this to the rep from Milltown who called me a few days later to see how it went. I told them how shocked and disappointed I was with the cost. I said that without a cost adjustment, I would write an appropriate review. It's been a month and no one got back to me. A compete ripoff! Neurosurgery costs less per hour! UPDATE: I was contacted a few weeks ago by the customer service rep who was extremely responsive and asked me what I thought was a fair price for the job, which I gave him, and he honored my request to refund me the difference. Thank you."

Steve Chamber arrived quickly, provided a competitive quote and got the oil burner installed and our hot water restored within a few days.. The final bill was exactly what was quoted and they cleaned up after themselves, even removing the cardboard boxes. I highly recommend Chamber HVAC and love that it is a family owned and operated business!"

So some of the previous work was old and not done correctly. Carmen, Shawn and his team were great to work with. I was worried that no one would take the job because the previous owner had not done a great job. Carmen and his team dived in and made all of the main wiring to the house beautiful and secure and safe. I would use them again for any electrical work big or small.
