"Eric was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly responsive, professional, personable, and helpful. He spoke with me both before and after the appraisal to understand my goals and to help me make the best decision to sell my mother‘s house. Thanks to his appraisal and guidance, I feel that I got a better-than-expected price. I have already recommended him to two friends and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants to hire a qualified and compassionate Appraiser. Look no further, contact Eric now!!"

"My wife and needed an appraiser for our home and we reached out Crowley?s Appraisal group and we were contacted quickly. Right away we were impressed with Joe?s professionalism and commitment He took the time to go over what he was going to, what he would be looking for And at times pointed items were we could make improvements My wife loved this part especially as she hoped I would follow through with his suggestions The best part was the way he interacted with us and made us feel comfortable throughout the process He was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed his work We were very happy and please with his work and wouldn?t hesitate to recommend him if someone is looking for an appraisal Great experience "

"Nothing but bad to say, he took 3 weeks to write up an appraisal and appraised it as a single family with in law when we have legal prove from building department, assessors department, and the town records basically saying itâ s a two family and he still chose to do the opposite. Ruining our deal and basically sabotaging it."

"My house was overvalued by the property tax assessor. It has a lot of damage and is not appropriately reflected in the neighborhood comparisons. (Termites, dry rot, multiple roof leaks, water damage to drywall and floors, failed windows and doors needing replacement) I needed to document this and its effect on the market value. Angie's List steered me to Akrivis. Very prompt and helpful on the phone. I was clear about the situation and what I needed. Two separate conversations initially, and one further conversation with Akrivis when their photographer needed to be instructed to take picture of damaged areas not just routine front back and two pictures of each room. The appraisal I got showed none of this. No real documentation of condition. The finished report consisted of a few general photos and a comparison of neighborhood values based on average price per square foot. Totally useless to me. Called the appraiser who was hostile and unhelpful. I'm out $400 for nothing."

"I will recommend Jeff Goodwin a million times. "Buying a house is a really big decision." This is such a cliché that it's almost not worth saying, so to go a little deeper: buying a house means committing to put down roots in a particular town and neighborhood, committing to maintain the property out of one's own finances, and committing to pay a certain amount of money every month for a VERY long time, possibly even for so long that you run the risk of needing to move out before you've paid off the original mortgage debt. All of this should be worth it for the sake of no longer depending on a landlord; but it won't be worth it if you make a mistake about the house's location, state of (dis)repair, general suitability for your lifestyle, or what it's actually worth vs. what you wind up paying. With all of these things to worry about, my husband and I did not want to start our first homeowner experience without expert advice. More importantly, while we could have consulted every first time buyers' guide on the planet, that information would have potentially proven worthless if we couldn't negotiate effectively with our house's listing agent, nor find a trustworthy lender and attorneys. And to top it all off, we didn't want months of househunting to prove unnecessarily stressful and burn us out before we could find anything. I was referred to Jeff by Otto Iglesias, an earlier contact of mine at this same agency. Jeff's knowledge, kindness, experience, and immaculate reliability addressed ALL of our concerns from the moment we got started in our search. He proved instrumental in finding exactly the right place to live, submitting a successful offer in an unbelievably tight market after only two other tries, and he hooked us up with a loan officer and an attorney, both of whom I would recommend just as highly. Please: whether you're trying to escape the renter's cycle for the first time, or whether you're trying to smoothly find a new home after selling your current one, practice some proverbial self-care and get a buyer agent. If you're in north/central Massachusetts, make sure that buyer agent is Jeff Goodwin. (Please note that no cost of service is listed. Jeff was paid when we closed on the house, but it's a commission that comes out of the sale price. There is NO separate charge for hiring a buyer agent!)"

"My wife and I are repeat clients of Katya’s and recommend her and her team’s services highly. She knows the Boston market extremely well and helped find us a home that we are incredibly pleased with that is outside of the area we originally thought to look in. She has an eye for good design and is able to size up a property quickly during a tour. We believe the guidance she’s given us during some complicated bids was decisive in helping us win them, and her team is responsive and efficient at navigating the process. She is the best person to have on your team in such a fast moving market."
