"Quoted me on a Sunday, started that Tuesday, finished and cleaned up on Friday. They worked hard and did an excellent job fixing my foundation and made everything look like new again. Cleaned up after themselves, including power washing the dirt off my driveway and sidewalk. Their prices were more than fair, and they responded quickly to my questions. Would definitely hire again."

"In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."

"This is the second time we've hired John. He's responsive, punctual and very easy to work with. He cleans the work area daily and his work is impeccable. Before installation of the brick, he had to remove a Corian backsplash. This was his first brick backsplash and we couldn't be happier. In terms of cost, I couldn't tell you if he's high, low or average because he's' the only person I called. Also, the first time we hired him, about 4 years ago, he installed a porcelain tile floor which garners compliments all the time."

"Our chimney had been partially toppled (about 4-5 rows of bricks were knocked off or knocked askew) by a shade tree's branch in a heavy storm. I called Bob since he was a local provider, and even though I called on a weekend, he came out quickly the next day to look at the damage. He called me back (after making his initial inspection, during which I wasn't home) with an estimate of $830 to repair the chimney, add a stainless steel cap and crown, and cut the tree's branch back so that it wouldn't do any further damage. He told me that wouldn't be doing the work himself; that he's too old for rooftop work anymore, but that he has a long-trusted employee to take care of it. He also warned me that while they always try to maintain the appearance of the chimney, many of the bricks had been knocked off and might have to be replaced. I didn't get any competitive bids, so I don't know how his price compares, but it seemed fair to me. So, I gave him the go-ahead (along with a $100 deposit) and we set a tentative date of March 30, weather permitting. Of course, on March 30 it rained all day. The next day, though it was sunny and Bob's guy was there from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. He replaced and mortared all the bricks, taking the time to scour the yard for all of the errant pieces. It turns out, he was able to find all of them, and it looks to me like they all went back exactly as they were. He also trimmed the tree and installed the cap and crown, and everything looks great. It was a truly painless process, and a welcome resolution to a potentially costly (and dangerous) problem. I'm happy to have found Bob and Alpine, and would gladly contact them again for any related needs in the future. I understand Bob installs and services fireplaces and BBQs as well, although I'll have to wait for our house to stop having costly accidents before I call him for those kinds of luxuries!"

"I have just moved to the Delaware area. I was trying to coordinate installation of carpeting and painting of the basement prior to my furniture arriving. I left a message for Luis late Tuesday night, he contacted me within the hour. He met me at my new home on Wednesday afternoon and assured me the painting would be completed on Thursday. My room looks fabulous. The painters were there on time, they were enjoyable, and professional. Luis checked in on the job. "Had to replace some rotting 4x6 framing timbers for brick steps leading up to our pool. Tried to do it myself but after discovering how solidly and intricatly built (lag screws, angle iron, mortar and brick) the original walkway was, decided I was getting in over my head and found Pieretti's here on AL. Owner Gary Pieretti gave us a great response (1-2 days to making a visit), especially for such a small job, and then did the work 5 days later. The work took him about 2-3 hours and is really well done. He had quoted up to $300 (not knowing what he would encounter with buried timbers and what not) but he billed us only $100, which we thought was VERY fair. We will definitely be using Pieretti's Landfeatures again (and for much bigger jobs!). Thanks Gary!"

We discussed additional work but I did not go through with that. I had no problem scheduling the deal and they came on time."
