"The gas heat and electric air conditioning unit they installed is wonderful. I have never experienced such a responsive and effective system as what I have now. Even though it was installed in late November I actually had an opportunity to use the air condioner for a couple of days and it was wonderful. Now, in mid January, though we have never had any intense cold, I have still needed heat to rid the house of a damp chill. When I turn the thermometer to 70' it takes just minutes to get warm. The company came and spent 3 days here putting in the system...cutting holes for registers, running large insulated pipes in the crawl space, and building the unit outside on a pad. When they were through there was not one piece of foil, insulation, wood or metal to be found in the yard. I was very impressed. I do have to say there was some confusion over getting the system turned on. That actually took several weeks. I suggest for anyone putting in a unit with gas that it be determined who is going to see to it that the gas company comes and that the unit will be turned on and to have the installers call you when that has been set up. Other than that, you will be pleased you chose Mid State and very satisfied with the completed job."

"I was worried about having the leak repaired. The bathroom is all tile and no access to the tub or pipes unless demolition was done (or so I thought). The repairman looked at the options from downstairs (go through the ceiling). Of course, I hadn't thought about that. After careful measurements, he determined he could get the job done by accessing from the ceiling in the laundry closet. The two foot section of pipe was split from end to end. Luckily, because of the angle of the pipe, all the water flowed to one end that happened to be above the door frame. There was no water damage to any ceiling (hallway or den, which is where the pipe originated). The drywall ceiling in the closet was cut (smaller section than I imagined would work after seeing the size of the pipe), work completed, then drywall fastened back. There is no visible damage. I could NOT be happier! Also, I had one toilet that was leaking between the tank and the toilet (gasket). Instead of just replacing the gasket, he rebuilt the toilet (he saw several issues that needed attention). He was FAST and efficient. Unlike other plumbing companies, Bradley Plumbing doesn't charge by the job (flat fee for rebuilding a toilet). They charge for parts and labor. Because he was so efficient, the labor was minimal. For ALL the work -- labor and parts, it was just over $300. It cost me almost that for another plumbing company to rebuilt ONE toilet -- forget the leak from the upstairs bathroom! I will ALWAYS call them for my plumbing needs going forward!!! (To Bradley Plumbing, this was Northfield Blvd condo, not address you'll see, Angie's list wouldn't let me add it for some reason. THANKS!)"

"First, I was pleased to get a plumber the next day. We had a new washer and dryer to install and decided at the last minute that we were not comfortable installing the gas dryer ourselves. The Holt company was able to schedule the installation the next day. We  had a new washer and dryer sitting on the front porch and the old washer and dryer in a tight-spaced laundry closet. The dryer had to come out first, before the old washer could come out. Mark disconnected the gas dryer and moved it out, then helped move out the old washer and moved in the new washer and connected it , then moved the new gas dryer into the space and connected it. In the end, we had the new washer and dryer installed and the old ones out on the porch for freecycling. Pretty good deal! <br />"
