"I called Gregg late in the season, after the pervious contractor that I hired had abandoned the work. Gregg came to my rescue, and was able to fit me in quickly. Their quality of work was amazing! They were able to rebuild my chimney where you couldn’t tell it was rebuilt. The porch, back wall and the decorative brick all look great! I’ve never seen anyone matches mortar color so perfectly! They were also punctual, clean and organized. I have to admit that I can be an extremely picky person; I know exactly what I want, so I might not be the easiest customer to work with, but everyone at Pisani Contracting was patient with me; they listened to what I wanted, and executed flawlessly! "The salesman was always prompt. The time was a little long before the work was actually begun. The hearth and fireplace are beautiful. Arnie, the mason, spent a lot of time cutting and matching the stones. I am very happy with the results. The mantel looks much better than what I had but the finish work is not quite what I had hoped for. There were some issues along the way regarding color of the stones but the results definitely meet my expectations. I do feel that the mantel price more than it should have been.

"They replaced several rows of broken bricks at the foundation of the house - without jeopardizing the integrity of the wall as well as replacing some bricks by the front door and installing a limestone plate by the door sill. Work was done professionally by Evan's crew within the estimated time and everyone there was very courteous."

They said that while they were at it that they would replace the siding behind my grill as it was slightly bubbled. I'm not sure if they forgot or ran out of time but it was not done. "Existing brick porch was breaking apart at mortar joints and brick was breaking and falling away along entire perimeter. I contacted 4 contractors - only 2 replied. D & S came out the same day and provided a quote on the spot. Their price was lower and I had a better feeling about them then the other contractor. Brick Preservation came highly recommended from a close family friend. They exceeded all expectations from the initial phone call to the completion of the work. 1 month after the job was completed I even received a follow up call to ensure that I was satisfied with the job.

The work crew was led by James himself. It was completed 2 days prior to his original estimate and the cost was just under the original quote.

The new mortar color and texture was a perfect match to the original from 1957. He was even able to reuse some of the original brick and match the replacement brick perfectly.

The work was performed safely and the crew was very professional at all times while they were at my home. The work area was kept neat while the work was performed and was spotless when he finished. (This was important to me because I have 3 young children and a large dog)

I would strongly recommend Brick Preservation to anyone who needs repair or replacement of original brick and mortar.

"I've had Rick out to my house twice to quote me for siding. I have found him to be very honest and have the most intregrity of the 3-4 for siding contractors that have come out to quote me. The first time he came out he recommended I find a handyman to repair my existing siding. He was of the opinion that we could buy ourselves a few more years with the repair work of a good handyman and then re-side down the road. I planned on taking advice until we found mold and my wife became concerned that there was mold behind out siding. I asked RIcked to come back out and quote me for vinyl siding, gutters, and aluminum trim. He gave me the best quote of any other siding contractor. He also really made me feel like I could trust the work and quality of A-1. We are still undecided if we will reside this year or a few years down the road but when we do we will almost certainly go with A-1 Roofing and Siding"
