"We were told we needed to have some bricks on our chimney replaced from a couple other masonry folks. I called Chris to get a quote for the work. When he arrived he explained why that would be a waste of money because the design of the chimney was the problem. Instead Chris suggested we do a few things to extend the life of our chimney for another 5-10 years (with detailed instructions so we could do the work) and replace the full chimney after that with a design that fits or Northwest climate. We will definitely be calling Chris for any work in the future!"

"They arrived right at the beginning of the time slot. They repaired all three crowns with new mortar, then sealed them plus the top crown. They wire brushed the chimney and applied a sealant on the whole chimney. Since I did not obtain any other bids for this work, I have no idea how good or bad the price is, thus the B grade for price. They have done prior work for me and have cleaned my chimney for years so I trust them. Workers were friendly and polite and cleaned everything up when they were done."

"Andrew responded quickly to my request for a bid and scheduled the job for a time that was mutually convenient. On the scheduled date, Armando and Andrew arrived in the morning and completed the job in one day. Andrew came back on the following Monday and cleaned the brick surfaces and made sure that I was satisfied with the results. The job was completed in a timely manner at the agreed upon price. Both Armando and Andrew are very personable and conscientious individuals and I would not hesitate to call them again for another masonry job, if necessary."

"Fred came out to get measurements for a roof replacement. When I told him out my mold problem in the attic he pointed out it was only in an area where I had a leak. He knew I was not ready to pay for a new roof so he advised I clean up the mold and replace the soffit venting until I can afford a new roof. I was told that he would send over an estimate for the venting and a separate estimate for the roof. He was very professional and I appreciated his honesty I figured next spring I would call Bastaldi and a competitor to see who had my best interest in hand for a new roof. Well I never received an estimate from Bastaldi and when I called and left a message last week, I never got a return call. I wouldn't give an F but I don't think I would use them in the future. <br />"

"Excellent! They explained why I could not get grass to grow well in my backyard: once they excavated, the soil contained lots of compact clay and rock, causing seeds to drown from watering. Once we locked in a date, they knocked it out relatively quickly, and gave me instructions on how to maintain the artificial grass going forward. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to the quotes I received from other contractors, and they did not charge me for leftover artificial grass, which they could have done.
