Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I have an old HVAC system so they didn't have the part in stock, but he was able to get me running again that day and said he would order a replacement part that day. The part come in sooner than expected and the technician called to schedule time that afternoon to come out to install the new part.
