"It went very well. I purchased the $129 Angieslist deal  that included a whole house inspection plus an additional hour of labor for any issues that were found. I was assuming my older house would have plenty of issues. Surprisingly, it did not but it was still worth it.
Scheduling was a breeze and the staff was polite. I ordered the deal on Tuesday and they came on Thursday. Good turnaround. 
The two guys that came were professional and easy to interact with. They explained things really well and got right to work. They were very thorough and explained issues as they came up. A few switches were not up to code so they fixed those at no extra cost. If I had done this without the Angieslist deal it would have probably been over $200 with parts and labor, if not more.
Overall, great experience. I learned a lot and will definitely use them for all my electrical needs from now on.

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"I purchased this as a Big Deal on the Angle's List site. The toughest part of the job was that I had a malfunctioning bathroom fan that needed to be replaced. We found that the way the fan had been mounted, there was no way to replace it with a new fan. So he took the back with him to Dayton and found someone who could repair it. Then, he came back, put the fan back in, and cleaned the gutters and cut up and disposed of big tree limbs. It was such a relief to get the fan fixed!
