"Edgar has done everything from tearing down and rebuilding brick stoop walls and topping with new cement toppers, repointing brickwork on the main house to repairing a very high chimney on a terra cotta roof. He also followed us to our new home in a different county and did timely repairs and topped our stone chimney and acid washed the stone fireplace inside. "Initial estimate was 5-8 days, but we were going in blind because the siding was not yet removed. After removal, we discovered all the remaining issues. The estimate went up as we made change orders but all the estimates were reasonable. The time eventually extended to about 3 weeks but the amount of work was definitely high. The guys made sure to clean up the rubble and messes they made every day. While having the paint stripper in the front was inconvenient, Pat stayed late to clean up and make sure we were able to get in and out of the house no problem. The pointing job looked great, and all cracked and broken bricks were repaired well. We have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors about how much better the house looks now. Pat and Ryan are great masons and will do everything relating to masonry and stone. They are very straightforward about not doing carpentry or electrical systems, so if that's a part of the job, they can either recommend someone to help out, or you should make sure to handle it yourself. Communication with Pat is very fast and very clear. He will explain the details of the job to you very carefully, and will also provide careful records of invoices and payments. They are also very accommodating of various needs like access to the house, neighborhood requirements, etc."

As others have mentioned he is very busy but will work as long as needed to get the job done right (our 45sq/ft job ended up being a bit more involved once old tile was removed). Will upload photos once grout is sealed and buffed in a couple days."

"Don is AWESOME! Don showed up and we immediately felt comfortable with him. He seemed like a down to earth, honest guy who was willing to make our vision a reality. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted the patio around the pool to look like. I had created a very detailed paving pattern, and Don was totally honest that he had never done it before but he was confident he could do it. He didn't complain or moan or say how hard it would be, he just did it. He and Pat (his right hand man) were totally professional, showed up every day early worked quickly. He was meticulous with his leveling. It has been a few months now since the job was completed and every stone is still perfect and everything is draining beautifully. He has a very unique technique, and it shows in the quality of the finished product. Well done!!!!!"

"Excellent. Dom & Sean inspected our current damper which was causing us issues and gave us a fair quote on replacing it with a new Lock Top Cap/Damper assembly which would fix our chimney issues. They returned the next day to do the work and were in and out quickly. Very professional, honest and fair. They left no mess and were a pleasure to deal with. I'd use this company again and can't give them a higher recommendation after other chimney experts were non-responsive to our calls. Home Service Experts, Inc. was the only company that had a live person on the phone to take my call (thanks Rose!). All of the companies had you leave voice mails that were never returned or the phone just rang and rang with no one picking up. Don't waste your time - call these guys."
