"Brian and his crew did a great job servicing the 2 A/C units and swamp cooler. He is very thorough. During the service of one of the A/C units he discovered the fan motor was over amping. He removed and replaced the fan unit all under warranty. The poor air flow problem in two of the rooms was somewhat of a mystery. After all other avenues were exhausted an access hole had to be cut into the ceiling (no attic access is available) to expose the ducting. It turns out that a piece of the insulation in the sheet metal duct work had been poorly installed when the house was built (not Brian) and had fallen away blocking the ducting to the rooms with the poor air flow. Mystery solved. Brain left no stone unturned in the resolution of this problem. The attic where the ducting is located is extremely small and it was very hot but Brian did not let the conditions deter him from doing an outstanding job. Brian is the only one I will call for any A/C work!"

"The technician came out, reviewed the situation and explained to me what needed to be done and I understood it clearly. However, due to the age of my old faucet the technician had to make a few modifications before he could install the replacement. Therefore, he made sure to explain to me that this would not be the normal remove and replace type of job which was due to the old faucet being welded on, instead of being screwed on. Anyhow, he removed the old faucet and installed a threaded piece of pipe and then screwed on the new hose bib piece. The job looks great and performs well, so I am completely satisfied. The technicians name was Johnny and he was a very professional good hearted man.

"I’ve had so many AC technicians through my house, and I have to say, Carlos Cetz is the best technician I’ver ever had. I’ve had him four times now, and he has solved all my problems no matter how complex, weird, or alarming. Carlos is always so calm, observant, and very, very knowledgeable. The first problem was when I had a lot of water coming out the side of my house. Carlos knew what the problem was and went to my attic. There he saw the drain wasn’t draining. He was able to drain it and found that cement, insulation, and dirt was stopping up the drain. This must have been from the time my house was built. The second problem was a problem I had called many times for and no amount of technicians could figure it out. They would say it was the door rattling, the motor was dirty, or another excuse. But Carlos did a thorough inspection and found one motor needed replacing. When I told him the noise was only on the upstairs unit, he inspected it well and said everything was in working condition. Carlos went out of his way to inspect the room where the noise was coming from. He found it was from one of my light fixtures in my study room that was making the noise due to the vibration. Sure enough he was correct. He tried getting the loose screw out, but it was too deep. I need to call an electrician for this problem, but I am so relieved. This noise was bothering me for a year and a half. I kept hearing it day and night and kept thinking something was going to break in my attic, but now I don’t have to worry about that. Carlos finally solved this annoying mystery, and I am just so grateful! The third problem was a rancid smell coming from my air conditioner vent. Due to my asthma and on-going fires around me, I had the fan going on all day and night and the air conditioner going on and off throughout the day. Carlos was able to explain how the condensation around the air conditioners work and why this situation was happening. Immediately we knew that that’s what happened. Even when I had a hard time understanding the mechanics, Carlos illustrated it so well. Carlos is so smart and a great communicator. He has a presence about him. Whenever I see him, I know my house is in good hands. He always uses a shoe cover when coming into my house, pets my barking dog so she isn’t scared anymore, covers my clothes with sheets, cleans the insulation that fell from the attic, and explains clearing what he did to solve the issue. The fourth problem was with the motor that was used to blow more air to the room farthest away and over the garage. The room gets so hot during the summer and cold during the winter. The motor kept failing to blow. Then Carlos had a creative and brilliant idea to connect it directly to the A/C and heater directly. Sorry this is so long, but this survey is way overdue and covers 4 different services. To sum up, Carlos is the best technician I have ever met. "The service tech that came to our house, John, was very courteous, very knowledgeable and detected several issues that he explained in detail and it was easy to concur with his assessments. He found a big clog in a very old pipe, which had broken as he was inspecting it. This clog had been giving us problem and was preventing the air from turning on. He ran to home depot, bought a replacement part and installed it, at no additional charge! He also vacuumed the heating unit and installed a new latch to hold the filter in place. He took the time to explain about the need to ensure the filter is secure so dirt and dust does not work its way into the main unit (Which would be very bad!). He examined the outside air conditioner and we scheduled another appointment in 6 months for a nice general check up. The outside unit may have a leak, which we were previously aware of, but he provided us additional details and let us know what our future options may be. We decided in 6 months, when they return for the semi-annual service we signed up for, that we could see how everything is looking. Very happy with the experience with Magnolia!"

"They're very responsive. They came out to check thing when we had questions. The work, they came out a couple times to train the new thermostat they installed. They were fine. It took about a week. They had to come out and look at stuff. Then give the estimate and then we decided on it. They had to order the stuff. Then we discovered the hot water piece needed to be completely done so they ordered that piece. So it was about a weeks job."

"RKM made this almost a pleasure. We started with a service call to evaluate/fix the old A/C. Richard was on-time, skilled and helpful. RKM phoned to confirm appointments and sent email messages to keep us updated re: arrival times. When new equipment was needed - Robert helped us navigate the choices and design a system that was a more efficient Energy Star rated unit that met our needs at a price we could manage. We didn't need financing but, that was available as a reasonable option. Proposals, invoices and equipment brochures were all sent in detailed & easily understood email messages. Installation of the new system (furnace & A/C) went smoothly as scheduled. The installation team - Jonathan, Brian and Julio - were on-time, friendly and knowledgeable. They took care to protect our homes interior and yard. All of the old equipment was removed and new installed, tested, etc in one day. The new a/c compressor, made by Gorman is QUIET; It's only been 24 hours but, the house is COOL and we can't hear anything in the house or yard."
