"General comments: The owner(s) and workers showed-up in unmarked/unidentified personal vehicles. Owner(s) and workers repeatedly parked in driveway blocking owner access to garage. Workers showed-up without having all of the necessary materials needed for the work. Contractor needed power tools, but did not have any power supply. When I reviewed the stucco application with the Contractor and pointed out several areas where the stucco application needed some additional work, the Owner became upset with me and he has never returned to the project. When the contractor finished the stucco application and corrective actions, despite their repeated assurance to clean-up, they had to come back, at my request, to complete the collection and removal of the debris caused by their work. I even had to loan the Contractor my rake and shovel to clean-up the debris. For the miscellaneous stucco work, the contractor's personnel used roofing paper as their "drop cloth". During the heat of the day as the contractor was applying the stucco in these areas, the waterproofing material in the roofing paper was squished-out and stained our driveway. After I pointed this out to the Contractor, they purchased and repainted a portion of our driveway. When the Contractor returned to prime and paint the new stucco (and immediately adjacent walls), they missed or incompletely painted 6 to 10 different areas. On this item, I showed the contractor personnel where they were allowed to wash-out and clean-up their stucco, priming and painting materials on the side of my house behind the fence. Despite this, the contractor's personnel washed-out and cleaned their tools in the center of my front yard, damaging and discoloring the sod. Despite reassurances from one of the Owner's son, after several texts to him and their initial willingness to return and correct/complete the painting, the Contractor STOPPED communicating with us on 7/6/20.. I have retained my recent texts to the Contractor to demonstrate that we have given the contractor every chance to "make it right" and that I even informed them that their lack of performance will directly influence my Angie's List review. However, my last texts to the Owner's son have gone unanswered since 7/6/20 and it is now 7/18/20. I chose this Contractor because I wanted to support our (smaller) local contractors, but it appears that I will need to do a better job of contractor selection in the future."

"Dirty Deeds performed a water intrusion abatement on the perimeter of our house. They dug down about a foot around the perimeter of the house, sealed the stucco and foundation with Seal-Krete, and installed a perforated drainage system which will move the water away from the house and release it via two pop-ups positioned in the front yard. They did a great job and cleaned up the site thoroughly. Our neighbors all commented how they left our front yard looking as if no work had been done at all."
