"Company got me a technician right away to fix the water leaking from toilet handle. Alex arrived on time and explained the problem (which matched to what I found on youtube). In addition, he replaced my leaky faucet so I didn't have to make another call about that. Great service and great communication."

"I had a couple of exterior pipes that were leaking, one of them into the wall, so I was in a hurry to have them fixed. They arrived for the job slightly late, checked it, gave me a quote up front, and I told them to do it. They did the job well (I hope). My concern is that the cost was excessive: $491 for a job that took two hours, that's about $250 per hour. I also asked them about another issue: replacing a faucet in the bathroom, and the quote was about $400 more, so I told them not to do this other job. I was really surprised by the pricing."

"Marcus is incredibly professional and personable. He fully explained the problem with my furnace in a way that was easily understandable. He located the part he needed, went and got it, and returned here in good time. He fixed my furnace and it is now working like new. Marcus is an asset to ABC. I also, as always, am impressed with and happy with service I received from ABC. They tell you up front what it is going to cost you and there are never any surprise fees. I would never use anyone other than ABC to maintain or repair my furnace, air conditioning, or plumbing."

"I've used Garrett Plumbing for a few years and have always been satisfied with their work. In this job they replaced three toilets, two sinks, and three shower heads in existing bathrooms. The work was completed in one day with one short callback. Then last week I had them come out to repair the handles in my utility sink. Their work is professional and reliable and I will continue to use them for plumbing in my home. <br />"

"I had attempted replacing an outdoor faucet (aka: sillcock, hose bib) and ended up breaking the plastic (PVC) pipe..which required to open up the block wall, repair and replace existing pipe, install new faucet, and repair wall with mortar. These guys were FAST and did a great job. From the time I called to finish was about 2 hours. Highly recommend!"

"These guys are fantastic! They are very responsive, communicative and thorough. My plumbing is old and I did not understand the intricacies having only lived in the home (built on a slab) for 4.5 years. David and Collin figured it out and solved my problem within 48 hours of my initial contact. I now have a new go-to plumber. Highly recommend!!!"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Palm Harbor, FL

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
