"Arrived when they said they would. Found bad compressor, took care of warranty and brought new compressor the next day. Installed, followed up two days later to make sure all was working right. Problem was caused by a leak and that's what they were checking for. Will follow up in a couple of weeks to make sure the leak is fixed permanent. Good people!"

"Our AC Unit went out in the evening. After some troubleshooting, we discovered the capacitor had bulged. We got a replacement capacitor, but the Unit still would not work. We spent a few more hours doing more troubleshooting. Our best guess was the breaker switch for the unit was not working properly. It was pretty late, so we went to bed. The next day we called a few places. JB Electric was able to come onsite that day. I met the servicemen at our house. They did some troubleshooting and determined the switch itself had burnt out. Our switch did not have a universal-compatible replacement, so they had to go get one. Once they were back, they replaced the switch, and everything has worked beautifully since. The switch itself was about $10. The "travel" charge was $29, which is pretty standard, and labor was $83/hour, with one hour minimum, also a pretty standard and competitive price. Overall, we are very happy with our experience with JB Electric."

"I hired this company to help get a house ready to be put on the market after another company who is highly rated on Angie's list did a poor job on even replacing ceiling fans. These guys were so professional. The work was done in a timely fashion and done well. I felt completely confident leaving Sam with the key to the house and just walking away and letting him and his crew get the work done. They painted the whole interior (close to 3,000 sq ft), pressure washed and stained decks, did some landscaping, patched a hole in the ceiling, and many other things to get my house ready. His wife even cleaned the house when they were done---I'm talking cabinets, windows, hardwood floors. Their price was very fair for all the work that my house needed. I had 2 other estimates (1 higher and 1 was lower) and I definitely made the right decision in choosing this company. "I had previously contracted with one of the big box companies to replace a hot water heater that had quit working in one of our rentals.  They failed to show up.  I canceled that contract and called Landon.  Because the person living in the apartment had no hot water, Landon said he  would make time to complete the job that day as he considered the situation an emergency.  We were very grateful for his caring nature.  Landon brought the new hot water heater and he and a helper installed the until that afternoon.  The space for removing the old unit was very tight.  The trim and dry wall had to be torn down in another apartment during a previous install.  We told Landon we understood that they would probably need to do the tear down and then repair the damage in this one as well.  Landon and his helper worked and struggled until they got the unit out with no damage.  There was hot water flowing when the tenant returned that evening.  That is about as good as it gets!"

But he hired in my opinion cheap unexperienced beginners for my job as I have learned since the work was done. In my opinion the job had serious problems."
