"The team Fence & Deck sent to install a fence in my backyard—an area measuring about 1/6th of an acre—were quick, efficient, and friendly. The first team member showed up just before 7:30 to start dismantling the old fence. By 8 AM, the rest of the team was hard at work. It was a quieter process than I thought, to be honest—which was great, as my neighbors work from home. They were finished by 2 PM; had cleaned up, packed up the old fence and their equipment and were gone. There were issues with installing the new fence: trees had grown into the fence path, most of them belonging to the neighbors. The team presented me with possible solutions at each point, so I could get the fence I wanted—or as close as was possible given the obstacles. It was a very low-stress construction day, and we—and our neighbors—really like the results."

Their price was fair (right in the middle of the quotes I received from other companies) and Marc and his crew were really easy to work with. Throughout the course of the project, Marc kept us posted on expectations leading up to our start date and then stayed in constant communication with us during the construction phase. When we needed to make minor tweaks or changes, Marc and the crew were always open to our ideas and continuously stressed that our satisfaction was their goal. Once the project started, they worked everyday (aside from weekends, of course) to get the job done in a timely and efficient manner. The screened-in porch turned out even better than expected and we couldn't be happier with the project. We're out there ALL THE TIME now and get tons of compliments from our neighbors. "Dave promptly responded to my inquiry and we set an appointment for him to look at the space and to provide an estimate.  Dave was very professional.  He took measurements and made notes.  He took the time to discuss what we wanted and provided suggestions, including showing examples of prior work. He informed us of how long the project would take.  He provided a folder containing information about the sub-contractors he uses.  That day he provided me a rough quote.  He promised to email the estimate the next business day and did so.  The estimate of $8,500 did not include the shower door or the fixtures.  We felt the price was a bit high for just a shower.  We had budgeted $7,000 for this project.   <br /> My only criticism is like most contractors, he did not separate the labor cost and the materials cost.  Contractors do this so that the consumer doesn't know the margins tacked on to the materials/subs labor for their profit.   <br /> We informed Dave that we did not intent to go forward with the project since it was more than we wanted to spend.  He suggested using a fiberglass foundation versus tile and using marble shelves rather than building shelves to cut down on the cost.  We did not want to do that.   <br /> We would recommend Dave's company and call him again for future projects. <br />"

"Brad and his employees are very professional and respectful. My porch is nicer looking than I ever imagined it would be. I actually love it!!!! Brad is conscientious to detail in so much when we thought porch was complete, it was on one of his many inspections of the job, that he saw two areas that werent up to HIS satisfaction, so he returned to redo these two small aspects of the porch. I highly recommend Elite Deck to perform any porch structure."

"I wish I could explain it. I called Abbey Fence and Deck last week to request a quote for a deck extension with composite deck boards. They quickly put me on the schedule no problem. Flash forward to today. The guy started measuring my existing balcony and asked what I wanted and as soon as I started explaining that I wanted to expand the deck out into the yard and across the back of the home, he started making excuses. He said they only had white rails no black, he started telling me about another job where he was waiting since September (it’s now March) for materials. He went on to say it would be August when he could get black railings. Then I said ok, if you can’t do the job I understand. So he took all his measuring tools, including a huge walking measuring wheel and left. It was very odd. Why didn’t they tell me when I called that they were low on parts or had a backlog on projects due to lack of materials. Needless to say, I called Wold Home Products, one of the companies he said they use and get this....The customer service rep said they have plenty of black aluminum railings. She even went on to tell me to have the contractor ask for the Westbury Tuscany #C-10. When I read reviews I take what people say with a grain of salt, especially if they are the only negative in a sea of positives. Trust me, I wasn’t asking for anything special or extravagant, just a simple deck. It was truly odd."
