"I can't say enough good things about Len Broczkowski and his crew. They arrived on time and finished the job in two days - remarkable. Len was just excellent at explaining what had to be done and when it would be done. They were on time and cleaned up afterward. The quality of their work was exceptional. I never felt like one in a long list of clients. After they were finished, Len called me to ask if I had any questions or concerns. I can easily see why this company is the highest rated painting company on Angie's list in the Milwaukee Area. I have referred them to the University at which I work. First class all the way."

"Team of 7 or 8 roofers arrived promptly as scheduled along with their gear and dumpster. They worked steadily and seemed very efficient.  Everyone worked on the tear-off until they had removed enough for some of the men to start working on protruding staples/nails.  As soon as enough area of that had been done, some started on the re-roof.  As the tear-off was completed and then the nails/staples were completed, more guys moved to the next phase until all were roofing.  Seemed as though everyone knew his task  and what to do next.  Much to my surprise, work really was almost done in one day.  It started to sprinkle in the late afternoon.  There was about 2 square feet of shingles left to lay, which was completed quickly. They packed up their equipment and spent time making sure all trash had been picked up.
Two or maybe three guys returned the next morning to finish flashing around the chimney and a couple of odds and ends.
Dumpster was removed promptly.
New gutters and gutter covers were installed  the next day.
Replacing the rotted fascia board was missed in the work.  I called about it and the work was done promptly, and the way I wanted.
We are very pleased with the work that was done.  House looks good and the gutter covers work.  The price was reasonable, not the most expensive and not the cheapest.  Worth what we paid.
Will call them for an estimate on the next project!

"I wholeheartedly recommend Matt and his company, Crownover Construction, LLC., for any renovation project, particularly those requiring meticulous attention to detail and respect for historical integrity. As a high-end fashion designer collaborating closely with a prominent interior designer, precision and aesthetic finesse are non-negotiable. When we engaged Crownover Construction for a comprehensive overhaul of our downtown Milwaukee condominium, we were met with exceptional professionalism and craftsmanship. The project encompassed a complete transformation of our space, from bespoke kitchen cabinets and top-tier appliances to a bathroom overhaul and the installation of new lighting fixtures throughout. What set Matt apart was his unwavering commitment to preserving the historical essence of our residence, nestled within one of Wisconsin's oldest buildings. His understanding of architectural heritage ensured that every modification enhanced rather than compromised the space's character. Matt's collaborative approach, seamlessly integrating our designer's vision with his expertise, resulted in an outcome that exceeded our expectations. Crownover Construction's dedication to quality and client satisfaction made every investment worthwhile. Without hesitation, I endorse Matt and his team for their unparalleled proficiency and integrity in construction endeavors. Sincerely, Finley"

"I've worked with many contractors over the years and JJB is the best I've worked with for residential remodeling. That's no small statement. JJB is responsive, communicative, on-time and on-schedule, does not cut corners, always willing to tackle new issues or problems that arise during construction, respectful of neighbors / other tenants, and very fairly priced for the quality of work that they provide. We even had some city permitting issues from prior construction that JJB was able to take on and get cleared up. I can't express how much headache this saved me! On top of being great contractors, Joe and Jeff and their team are also just great people - very personable, easy to communicate with, and a pleasure to be around. They really desire to make their customers happy and to do good work. You won't find any cheap shortcuts or shoddy work with this team. When the time comes for another construction job in the area, they will be my first call. I really can't give much of a higher recommendation than that!"

"Illinois Affordable Roofing installed our new rubber roof system and they did a fantastic job. They are very responsive, professional, and truly live up to their name. Sam helped us select the best options to meet our needs and budget. He outlined a plan from start to finish and executed it flawlessly, keeping us updated along the way. Thank you IAR for such a high quality job!"

"Great! They spent 2 days repairing a poor roofing job that lead to our leaking and a several nests of wasps invading house. They also did a great job cleaning our gutters this spring.

They will be returning next spring for another issue we need addressed.

We were very happy with this company, Ben is very easy to talk with.

"Woodrite was a great contractor to work with, from the detailed contract on what they world deliver to working with the city on plans and permits. This was a custom built gazebo and the workshop from the carpenter that did the work was amazing. Would highly recommend this contractor. Del, who is the owner is great to work with."

"**UPDATE** Brian did eventually get back to me to let me know that he had been sick, which is why he missed the appointment and my follow-up call.  He did come give an estimate on a later date I was able to set up to go back to the house.  He was very pleasant and professional while there and after emailing to inquire about the status of the estimate about a week later, he got it to me within 24 hours.  I am currently waiting for a call back to discuss details and hopefully use his services for my painting job.

---------------

I set up an appointment with Brian for 1:30 on Jan. 10th at the house that we are buying in order to get an estimate for a major painting job.  I was very clear that we only had that one day to be in the house (the inspection was also happening on that day) prior to closing late March and I wanted to get these estimates done so I could arrange a few major things to get done before we actually had the movers move our furniture in.  Timing was very important and I only had enough time to get 3 painters in to bid on the job - and even then it was a bit rushed.
Bottom line, Brian never showed.  I called about 40 min after he was supposed to be there and got a voice mail and I left a message letting him know that I was leaving the house.
I have yet to get any response from Brian or anyone else.  I am very disappointed, especially since this is a highly rated company here on Angie's List."
