"Started the deck two weeks late but that happens with weather and other factors when you schedule 3 months in advance over a summer. Only took 2 days to build and the deck looks awesome. Workers respectful and cleaned up fairly well. I will say when I agreed to have them build my deck I wrongly assumed the owner Randy would be here with his crew building it. That was not the case. It was his brother and another member of his crew. They did a very nice job but this was a concern initially. I should have asked about this when I signed on."

"Tyler worked with our existing interior door frames and installed new 3 panel doors. Our home is old and things have settled but he was able to get all the new doors to open and close with little or no pressure applied. The doors also stay open when opened and stay closed when closed, he is skilled and it shows in the work he does. Tyler was great to work with he came did measurements listened to what we wanted, gave us some suggestions and then got everything ordered. He was able to work with our schedule and even came back and put in some door stops and coat hooks on the new doors. We appreciated his professional clean up that he often did during and after the install. I would 100% hire him again."

"I would recommend Iron & Oak to anyone. We decided to replace an old and falling apart solarium on the back of our house and wanted a three season screen porch on the same footprint. We had a number of contractors out to bid on the project.. some that provided low-cost, cookie cutter aluminum porches, some that were custom builders. I have to share my 1st attempt on hiring the right guy for this project. It consisted of me getting a couple recommended contractors from others and thought I was good. Instead it was terrible, to the point where we mutually agreed it was best for them to remove the decking and poorly installed addition and walk away. Naturally I cautiously interviewed several more deck builders before deciding on MN Construction.
From the 1st call, Trevor impressed me. He made time out of his busy schedule to stop by or take my calls. He gave me an clear overview, answered questions and concerns from the last guy's work, explained why when asked, left samples, etc. He suggested deferent designs and product over others and why, building my confidence quickly. After we traded a few emails/texts, my decision to go with MN Construction was an easy one.
During the project, with a crew of 3, progress was made quickly. They were efficient, hard working, and asked questions when needed. The results are more than we expected to get because of his recommendations and I know our deck with last longer because of the quality of work/product they used. When I'd point out this or that, boom done, and better than expected. After interviewing several and hiring a couple, it's hard to find guys like this out there. You can bet they will be getting another call from me on other remodel work and I have already passed their name on.

"The project went very well. We added a huge picture window (entire window is 8 feet across, over 4 feet high) in a room that did not have a window. I'm SO happy with the results. It's gorgeous. Nathan has his name on the business, and that makes a difference. He stands by his work. I had gotten 3 estimates before hiring CCR, and the other ones sent swarmy salesmen. Nathan is just authentic. With CCR, you're talking to the very person who does the work and who stands by the work. There was a hiccup in installation, as we found an electrical line where the window should go. Once that was taken care of, Nathan and crew came back and finished the job right. They did the job in such a way that I didn't have to do drywall-and-painting in my home. That was SO nice. I'd hire CCR again."

"From the initial estimate and assessment through final touch ups and clean ups Ryan and his crew from FreshLook were on top of everything. Ryan worked well with our contractor to time when he could start painting our exterior (new LP SmartSide) and gave us additional ideas and input to ensure the color scheme and matching came out as best as possible. His painters were on time, detailed, worked quickly while doing an outstanding job. When we made a last minute change to make our porch roof a clear coat in order to see the wood grain vs painted white Ryan helped us clear up blemishes in the wood and had his team out a number of times to ensure everything looked right. "The project went very well.  Storm damage caused by two trees coming down on two sides of the fence was repaired in 2-3 hours.  The workers reviewed all needed work from the estimate prior to beginning the work.  They even volunteered to replace a top rail from another section of the fence, not included in the estimate, that had been bent in a storm many years before.   The workers were very thorough, did not damage any plants or grass around the damaged areas and cleaned up after themselves.  The workers were knowledgeable and polite.   They made sure everything was nice and straight!  Everything looked very nice when they were finished.  The workers were approximately an hour late from the start time I had been given.  I called and was told they had gotten a late start.  Their good work made up for the lateness.
