"The work we had done included pouring a concrete pad for an RV, a bathroom and kitchen remodel, and an aluminum fence installed in the back yard (old fence removed). Frank was very prompt in responding to my request for a quote and always answered my calls. After seeing pictures of his work we thought the quote was reasonable for what we were requesting. Things that I didnâ t like were: 1. He continually added to the cost saying that â this or thatâ was not included in his original quote. 2. I thought I was clear in my request (even documented what side of the cabinet I wanted the hinges to be on) but not everything I requested was included in the quote (like under cabinet lighting). 3. Because communication with his workers was limited not everything I requested was done as I would have liked and it would have cost me more to correct the discrepancies. Some of the finished work looks unprofessional in my opinion. 4. I ended up purchasing items that I thought would have been included in the cost (or at least have included a basic allowance) but were not deducted from what I paid him (sink, faucet, cabinet/drawer pulls). 5. The custom cabinets are beautiful from an exterior view. However, the toe kick measurements are 4â x 4â so that the dishwasher sticks out 2â and there is a hole where the toe kick meets the dishwasher base plate. As a result of this, I also had to pay for reflooring where the old cabinets came out. Another issue I ran into was that my garbage disposal was working prior to the kitchen remodel. However, when it was reinstalled (it was only 1 year old and had been working prior to removal) it would trip the breaker or start smoking. I had to purchase a new one and when they installed it they neglected to pop out the plug for the dishwasher connection. His workers are not licensed plumbers or electricians yet he has them do all the electrical and plumbing work without having a licensed professional check the work. When questioned about some items he always had an answer â that is not required but we can do it for an additional costâ . An example is I asked about putting a header over a door that was installed in an existing wall. Overall, I like the finished kitchen and bath remodel but there are some issues that I will just have to live with because it will be too expensive to correct. The concrete pad looks good but time will tell because one corner is higher than the lawn around it and the gravel base is falling out. In my opinion it was finished/supported improperly. Again, it would have cost me more to have it done so that it looked professionally done. My advice to anyone who chooses to hire this company, be VERY specific/clear about what you want and ask for complete documentation of what is included in the quote. Ask for specific costs in writing if you make any changes because his tracking process appears to be figures randomly written in a spiral notebook. And yes, I am a pe"
