"George and his team were extremely friendly and professional. This is a good group of people. Courteous and thoughtful, they were able to do a complete installation of both systems from scratch in about 6 hours.
The new radon remediation system (Bubble Up) has the added benefit of boosting the fixture pressure in the house to city level or better (60-75psi) as well as completely resolving the pH level of the water.
The cost was slightly lower than the other two quotes we received, partially due to the fact that Absolute offered a "multi-system" discount since two systems were going in at the same time.
If in your service area, I would highly recommend George Doumit of Absolute Water System.

"I highly recommend Mitchell for any plumbing that needs to be done for anybody. He is honest, Also, very neat. And he shows a lot of pride in his work, and I am 73 years old, I have seen a lot of plumbers, some. I will never recommend like daigo plumbing. Stay away from him. But Mitch is number one and I respect everything that he's done for me today. Great worker. On time and takes a lot of pride in his work. I'm very happy to have him here today. He was godsend to me, so thank you, Mitch. I will recommend you to anybody of my friends, our family or anyone that calls on a plumber. Your name will come up and that's a guaranteed. I will never call anybody else's again, but you Thank you for your help. As far as I am concerned, you are number one. There's no one above you and I have seen like I said, and dealt with a lot of plumber, so thank you again. You stay safe, cause the people Do need plumber like you. Stay safe."

"Richard did an outstanding job. When he came for an estimate, he traced the water line to the basement. He found that the issue was simply a pinched line that needed to be freed up. He quickly fixed the problem at no charge! I was elated because I was sure that this was a major problem that would cost me several thousand dollars to fix.

I was impressed by his honesty and work ethic as he could have told me anything or charged me for the work that he did. I would definately use this contractor again in the future and recommend him to others.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I had initiated contact with Matt at QCR prior to our purchasing this deal to be sure they would travel down to Billerica from Manchester, NH and that they would also deal with removal of our existing unit (as it was larger than removing a standard shower stall).  He was always prompt returning my emails and calls.
Once we agreed on a start date, Project Manager Luc came to evaluate the job and discuss our options.  We had decided to go with plain white tiles (they did add a wide band of multi-tan and brown narrow glass tiles toward the top as an accent, and also made it the inside tile for the soap/shampoo 'window'), and requested a textured tile for the floor of the shower so a tub mat wouldn't be required (they found a nice, sand colored square tile that fit the bill perfectly).
The first workers arrived promptly on the first day and we were off!  The first day was demolition/removal of the old unit.  I don't remember if the plumber also came that day or the next to re-plumb for the new drain and valve.  Each day brought change -- the new unit and box bench were framed; whatever the appropriate wallboard product is for tiled showers was hung and tiling begun.
The job began on a Tuesday morning and we were told it would be one week before we would have the use of the shower.  Despite having to do some creative scheduling to cover us during a scheduling crunch they encountered (and our own, as this is our only bathroom and my husband needed to shower for work everyday and had to borrow my parents' shower) and a couple of minor glitches of needing additional or different materials that added some time onto the finishing process, the job was completed only one day 'late' and we christened the shower the next morning.
Throughout the process the various workers kept us informed of progress or problems (only 2 minor problems that I can recall beyond the scheduling crunch); any questions or concerns were promptly and cheerfully addressed by Luc; everyone was completely professional, neat, considerate, and as prompt as can be expected given highway rush hour issues for the long drive to reach us.
Bottom line is we now have something we can actually get clean in without slipping or worrying about old surfaces shedding fiberglass, AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!  Best of all, it was a huge bargain without sacrificing quality!!  Without this deal we wouldn't have been able to replace for another year.
