"We examined the entire house, from basement to attic. <br /> In the basement, there was one issue: there are four steel columns that support wooden beams that run the width of the house. Those columns are rusting away, and thus they require replacement or reinforcing. It is possible that many houses in my neighborhood have a similar problem. <br /> He inspected the rest of the house very professionally, pointing out anything that he found unusual. The major item of interest that he mentioned is that the roof is supported by trusses.
