"I really liked Eric he gave us an estimate over the phone 350-400 to install about 6ft of gas line to a dryer and 15 ft of venting. When he finished the job he said it would be $500 because the pipe was 3/4 instead of 1/2. I did not feel like it was right. He should of asked the size of the pipe or asked prior to doing the work. I felt that I was overcharged last minute."

"Very well.  I normally don't write reviews, but I have to say that I was very impressed with the vendor.  The owner is advanced for his years in terms of service, communication and professionalism.  I called him for a quote and he gave me a small window in which he'd show.  He called me ahead of times to let me know he was coming, and showed up exactly when he said.  He gave me a quote the same day.  Pipease wasn't the cheapest, but of the 5 quotes i got, they were 1 of the middle 3. We signed the contract and he was able to start work the next day on a full repipe project.  His crew started the next day early in the morning and worked to complete the job the same day.  At the end of the day, he gave me a thorough update of the work done and status.  <br> <br>The best part of his team's service was the professionalism.  I have tenants, and he was very courteous to them.  His crew laid down tarp as to not dirty the floors inside the house.  He kept them informed and was very courteous to them.  Makes my job easier.  Also, his team found a dryer vent pipe wasn't properly connected and fixed it even though it was not part of the original scope of service.  I believe that most plumbers would ignore the problem and just close up the wall.   <br> <br>Personally, I also appreciated the fact that his company is not too small (e.g. 1-2 man crew) and not too big (a call center that refers you to a network of plumbers).  I worked directly with him and his team, and they got the job done fast and well.  I would definitely use this company again.   <br> <br>"

"Two Days: That's all, it took to re-pipe our Townhouse! Day: The re-pipe workers descended upon our house at 8 AM and immediately went to work with all the precision of a rocket launch. Short story: the entire re-pipe took only one day and they were gone an cleaned up by 5 PM with the water on! Day 2: The drywall workers descended upon our house at 8 AM and immediately went to work with all the precision of a rocket launch. They patched up all the holes in the drywall throughout the house that were used the day before to run new water pipes. They were done, cleaned up and gone by 5 PM. Next day, I had to re-paint a couple walls, but no big deal. All the workers were nice people and easy to get along with - the price was very good as well! I heartily recommend Mr. Re-Pipe!"

Chris was super-responsive when I called to get a ballpark estimate & see if they did the kind of work I was looking for. </p> <p>I emailed a photo of my laundry room to Chris and he responded 5 minutes later with advice on how to proceed. He booked me for a Friday installation as requested (the washer dryer was due to arrive on Thursday). Chris also immediately sent me a copy of the company's current business license & proof of insurance when I asked. (For some reason if you click the Better Business Bureau's link on Angie's List it says that the company is no longer in business. This is incorrect!)</p> <p>The great service continued on Thursday afternoon when they had an unexpected opening and Mike called me to see if the washer-dryer had arrived yet (it did!) and if I wanted to have it installed early before Friday (I did!)  :)</p> <p>Mike came out and got the job done. I have a 70 year old house and Mike was careful with the old water & gas pipes and worked to get things set up to accommodate a stacked washer/dryer unit. (He extended the gas line 6 feet to the other side of the laundry room and improved the drain.) Mike even pro-actively improved the vent set-up we had, and trimmed the protruding vent sleeve so that we had more room in the laundry-room & were able to fit our laundry cart next to the washer-dryer (something we really hoped to do.)</p> <p>We received a 10% discount and it was clear that ER Block Plumbing goes the extra mile to ensure Angie's List customers are happy. "We have used this company twice in one month.Very happy with the service, responsiveness and professionalism.  We had a leaking valve in an upstairs shower that was causing water damage on our ceiling in living room. They figured out the problem and got it fixed.  Two weeks later, we had blockage in our downstairs drains.  Turns out there were tree roots growing into clay sewer pipes and they got that fixed for us.  Prices were very reasonable.  They showed up when they said they would.  Ash, Aram and Steve.   <br />"

"Benny & Son made a great team. Just the 2 of them. They were very honest, efficient, polite & professional. They went out and picked up an appropriate new utility faucet, Sent me a few photos with prices by phone so I could ***** & choose. Then, rather than yet another temp fix by running the snake down the drain, they ended up completely clearing all the sludge and build up of the drain pipes all the way out to the main drain by using a special high pressure water machine system they had. This had never been done or recommended before by anyone over the years. It was a very impressive & a much longer lasting solution. The solid awful build up of decades that came out of that pipe was astonishing. Another simple snake cleaning would have simply drilled a small hole through it all once again ...until next time. We haven’t had a single problem since. All is better than ever. At the same time, they put our gas meter up to code with the CA required earthquake auto shut off; which put our minds further at ease. They were fast, clean, informative and thorough while taking pride & responsibility in their work. They are a highly recommended plumber all around from our experience. I confidentially recommended them to a friend also needing service the very next day."
