"I bought an Angie's List deal on redoing my concrete walkway at a great price of $999 for 100 square feet. I was prepared to be talked into a larger project, since my driveway was past due for repaving, but I was pleased that Jesus didn't pressure me. He just told me his ideas and showed me the benefits of doing the whole thing at once, and I decided to go for it. He explained the process, how long it would take, and how much I'd be inconvenienced. He emailed me the estimate we'd agreed on and checked in the day before he was scheduled to arrive. The workers were punctual and friendly. They arrived early in the morning and worked all day until the project was completed. I would rate this an excellent experience in all ways."

"I am very satisfied with the work River Rock Outscape performed. Their price was reasonable (not the lowest nor the highest bid I received) and they were helpful and professional throughout the entire job. They worked with me to accommodate new or modified requests as the project progressed, and everything came out looking fantastic. They also took the time to clean up each day before heading out, sweeping any dust or gravel, so that the impact to my neighbors and neighborhood was minimal. They also did a pavers job for my parents 6 years ago and their work from then still looks great."

"Travis and his team did a wonderful job at completing our front yard landscaping vision. They worked with us to come up with a plan that fit our esthetic and budget. They weren’t pushy or upsellers like some of the companies I had previously interviewed. They were knowledgeable about which types of plants to use where and why, they were punctual and completed the job in a very timely manner, they were professional and left the site clean and tidy each day, and they even did little things to go above and beyond (brought our trash cans out on trash day without being asked, refilled our dog’s water when it was low, etc.). We had a very positive experience with Travis and his team and we were very happy with our curb appeal after they completed the job. We would recommend them for a landscaping job."

"WE HAD THEM GET US A TYPE OF FLAT STONE WE HAVE PUT AROUND AS A WALKWAY THROUGH THE PLANTS AND TREES. DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE ARE NOT DONE YET WITH OUR LANDSCAPING, WE WILL NEED TO GO BACK AND GET MORE. THEY HAVE GREAT LOW PRICES AND ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE ITEMS IN STOCK. ALSO THEIR DELIVERY TIME IS THE NEXT DAY."

"Mike and his team, which included his son Travis, did an excellent job. They were very punctual, polite, knowledgeable & gave me some ideas for another potential project. I was concerned about how the repair work would look on my 20 year old porch but the replaced stones and cement work looked great. Now I wonder why I waited so long. I’d highly recommend them."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Ramona, CA

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
