"I have had J. Christopher Construction do previous work for me, and this last project was a shower pan installation. Jon had to start by removing the old tub, and as soon as he saw the situation, he showed me the water damaged floor joists and recommended a method of repair. I gave him the go ahead to continue, and he successfully replaced the water damaged floor sheathing and joists. While he was there, he also located and repaired the plumbing problem that caused the damage in the first place. We then discussed the new tile work required to finish up this project. Jon was helpful with his suggestions and recommendations and the finished product was great. I also found Jon very friendly and easy to work with. I like the way he promptly responds to any of my questions or concerns, and provides this quick response using the method I contacted him whether it was text, email or phone. I have been completely satisfied with all past work and he has proven to be honest and trustworthy. I have trusted him with keys to my house and have allowed him to work in my home without any supervision. I now have an exterior upgrade coming up, but I will have to wait for the weather to cooperate. Jon Christopher will be my first call, and I am looking forward to working with him again."

"Mike reaffirmed the price quoted, and the color of the film chosen.  He washed the window and door surfaces before installing film.  He cut the film to fit each surface perfectly and explained exactly what he was doing.  He used a drop cloth to protect any floor surfaces and also wore booties over his shoes when he first arrived.  I felt very confident in his ability to do a good job as I watched him work.  He cleaned up all scraps as he went along using a huge garbage bag he brought with him.  When he was finished (very efficiently I might add) he told me to leave the blinds open for that day.  Because of the extreme heat outside I needed to keep the extra cover of the shades away from the windows during the day.  With this film, no one can see in from the outside unless there is a bright light in the room and therefore, I didn't feel exposed by leaving my curtains open.  I did call the company later in the day to make certain I could close the curtains and night and was reassured that would be fine.  The phone was answered promptly and pleasantly.  I have a list of the things to know about maintaining this film and it's not a difficult process.  I noticed the way it filtered the brightness outside and could tell the difference in the heat level of my rooms.  The company also provides an excellent warranty.  When Mike left my house there was absolutely no mess left behind.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone.  I had called another company prior to this one and they never returned my call or email.  This company returned my call with one day and was able to do my work within 2 days."

"There was debris on the floor after they ripped up the old carpeting. They did not bring in anything to clean up the debris so my husband offered the vacuum or broom. It didn't seem like they were going to clean anything up before laying the carpet so my husband started to vacuum. Pretty soon, he noticed they had both gone out to smoke a cigarette. They did peek in but my husband was still working so they stayed outside until he was done! There were gaps under the molding and a good 1/4 inch of the wood floor showed where the carpet should have been even with the floor as our previous one was. There were no suggestions offered on how to avoid that before they put down the carpet nor were any suggestions offered after that was pointed out. When they came back out to redo the edge by the wood floor, they raised up the tack strips with shims and that solved the problem. Just wondered why that wasn't done in the first place! Clean up was minimal so we had to do that again too."
