Just one day to take the old furnace away, replace all the old boots and duct work and install the new furnace. They paid a lot of attention not to damage or dirty the floor/carpet. "Understandably and as expected all HVAC contractors were on high demand and all booked up for several days out, so no one in the area was available until the following week at the earliest. We called Mr. Diego Utor and lime everyone else he was also all booked up; however, he added us to his already full day and said he would do his best to stop over. Diego kept his word and arrived late afternoon that very same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be a bad capacitor. He replaced the part and also checked the refrigerant level for us. Diego Utor is responsive, courteous, honest and his rates are very reasonable for his services. "I always have my doubts about what I will get for $39, so went into this deal with low expectations. I have a two story house with basement. The Green Apple crew arrived on time, with a text reminder 1 hour ahead. That always helps. Make sure you know where all your vents are, and that they are accessible (move beds and furniture if they cover a vent, that gives the crew more time to do their job). Tony explained the difference between cleaning the vents, and a deep cleaning of the ductwork. After confirming that I had not had the ducts cleaned in the 20 years I have lived here with 2 dogs, Tony walked through the entire house and took photos inside the ducts. How embarrassing! It was obvious I needed the deep cleaning service (what was that lump in there? We needed to find out). Deep cleaning is more expensive, but when you see how much work it takes for Tony and his energetic assistant, Julian, to really get into and clean the ductwork, you will understand why. They worked steadily for over 2 1/2 hours, and had all the correct equipment to do a very thorough job. They even cut into and repaired the original 1929 ductwork to get at difficult spots without extra charges. Overall, a great job, and today was the first time in months I didn't wake up sneezing. If you are sensitive to chemicals or fragrances, be sure to check the disinfectant before it is used, though there is no hint of it after 24 hours, it has a strong smell when first applied. Again, you only need deep cleaning once every 5 years, so it is worth the .15 cents a day to breath easier. Thanks again to Tony and Julian for a job well done. Pay Tony, tip Julian! (The disgusting lump was a towel I had never owned. That made it worth the price right there.)"

"Drew from Legacy Plumbing came out IMMEDIATELY to our rescue because not only were all toilets and showers unusable because water would flood downstairs but we had a birthday get-together with family happening within the hour. Drew was very knowledgeable and quickly fixed our clog and we needed a replacement part for an obvious leak. Legacy Plumbing is super honest, and you don't feel like you're getting ripped off with unnecessary b.s.. This is the second time we've called and because of the great job he did on our last major issue with our old pipes, we called him again.
