"I went on your website on Sunday, Nov 13, in search of a roofing contractor. I requested bids. On Monday morning I got a call from one contractor -- Ruben Fortes (B and S Home Repairs, Philadelphia). I asked if he could come out that day to give an estimate. He arrived at my house in the early afternoon, inspected the problem (an infestation of varmints in an attic), and said he would call back with an estimate that day. He did -- and said he would come out on Tuesday and do the work. He came as promised and spent most of the day at my house. He put wire screening over two vents where the critters were getting in. He also cut out some rotting wood where the invaders had gnawed through in creating an opening to the attic. He did all this on a cold, windy November day while lying on top of the roof and hangin over the edges to make the improvements. His price for his work was very reasonable -- $360. I gave him a nice tip for his excellent work. I note that no one else even bid on the job, and he handled it from the first phone call to the finished job in two days. I asked him upon competition whether there were other employees in the business. He said no, he was the owner and the only employee. I was most impressed on how he did the work and treated me and my wife."
