I found B&L on Angie's list and called them around 2 PM. Brian answered and said he would be there by 5 PM. He arrived at 4:15 PM! He fixed the problem that same day without having to make a return appointment. His rate was reasonable. The AC unit is working fine now. I found him to be honest, experienced and knowledgeable. He could have taken advantage of our situation and padded the bill or performed unnecessary work, but he did not do that."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Drain line for half of house plugged. I tried for 3 days to unplug drain line using water and chemicals. Called Graham-Simon Plumbing Co. They were very responsive and dispatched a crew first thing the next morning. Rather than immediately start electric sewer cleaning, the head plumber tried another water flush while watching the sewer discharge from the house. This time the water flush worked. They were very professional about trying the easy, low cost approach first. I asked them to evaluate whether or not they could repair the cracked left bowl of my integral kitchen sink. The head plumber looked at it and said he did not know how to replace or repair an integral sink. He asked the company to send their best, most experienced plumber to look at the sink. Their expert came the next day and also said that he could not repair or replace the sink with the same quality of work. He said that the job needed a kitchen counter expert rather than a plumber. He then provided the name of a company who could do the work."

"CHW was very responsive to our urgent need! We filed a claim the evening prior when we notices our A/C was blowing warm air into the rooms. Then by 8AM the next day, we had a call from the service technician saying he was on his way to address the issue! CHW worked with the technician to find out the compressor was the culprit and approved it's repair! Great customer service for a family in need during the hot south central Texas summer!"
