"I am in the commercial construction business, found this vendor through Angie's List... Recently my in-laws' had their entire basement flooded, yes, 9' HIGH OF STORM WATER filled to the ceiling, completely ruined a finished basement, HVAC, electrical panel, etc. Armor Restoration gave us a competitive price, and both Norman and Bob were very responsive to our requests, very service-oriented. Armor was prepared to mobilize and git-r-done. They brought out two crews to hand-fill (two!) 30-cubic-yard dumpsters full of ruined stuff and materials. They helped us sort through salvageable personal items, and gave us great advice on just about everything we had questions about. Before they started, the basement was beyond awful smelling (some sewage waste got in too) and making the rest of the house smell too. In two days of working, removal was done, basement was stripped to bare concrete, cleaned, treated with anti-microbial spray, and smelled very clean. Incredible. The workers were all very professional, courteous and took great care to protect the pathway in-out of the basement, which was through the front door. "I had recently bought a new home and knew that I wanted to add a bathroom to the partially finished basement.  I met with about five contractors and got estimates.  Most of the contractors were very pushy about the location of the bathroom, which differed from my preferred location.  Justin was the first one I met with that said I he could make it happen in that space for a reasonable price.  Other estimates extended up to about $25,000 for this bath.  Justin was one of the lower estimates, but not the lowest.  I picked him based on the fact that his attitude all along was that whatever I wanted, he would make happen.  Also, being a single female, I appreciated that when I asked questions, he never talked down to me, or acted like I was stupid for not knowing- he always took the time to explain things without getting irritated or frustrated.  Any changes throughout the way, he had his guys change without a complaint.  I was also very comfortable having all of his employees in my home.
This bath was a lot of labor since there was not a rough in.  Other contractors complained about having to drill the concrete up along the entire basement floor.  Justin's plumber was able to come in and easily locate another line underground that eliminated so much drilling.  They cut the wall and framed out a door at the base of the stairs, relocated the water heater, installed then rough in, added a vent, outlet, lights, vanity, toilet, and full standing shower.
We had a hang up with the vanity (due to another business, NOT Justin's) which hung up the timeline- this whole time Justin and his team were VERY patient waiting for the vanity to be built.
Justin also worked with me to find ways to save money along the way, while still providing the best product.  The price did not include tile or fixtures- these I bought separately through Floor and Decor, Home Depot, and Lowes.
This was the first time I had hired a contractor for such a large project, and I would definitely use this company again.  I have actually already scheduled a second job with them.

"I found Armour through Home Advisor three weeks before my cabinets arrived-after my original contracyor backed out. We have a 10'x13' galley kitchen and Rob and his crew from start to finish completed a complete demo and complete renovation in 2 weeks and 3 days. We kept the same footprint. Another contractor quoted it at 5-6 weeks. I had purchased all floor and wall tile, ordered the cabinets, range hood, under cabinet lights, pendants and appliances. Rob reviewed the delivery of cabinets for damage when they arrived (all was good); encouraged me to buy the countertop through a purveyor he knew (with a 2-day turnaround!!) and Rob's original quote was 45% less than one contractor and 33% less than another contractor. Rob and Christina Stouffer brought the A team for demo, carpentry and tile installation. The standard of work was high. Any single day 2-4 workmen were busy on the job. No one slacked off. In addition, they opened the wall to our living/dining room, removed grasscloth wall paper (from 1975) and plastered, sanded and primed the 10'x14' wall. Any project we have in the future will go to Armour. I've already recommended two other homeowners to them. This company is fair and honest and hires good men."
