"The house has been watertight ever since, the basement has been because that’s where the concerns were. The work was not intrusive, in other words there wasn’t a lot of foundation or yard damage or anything. They were just very careful. The guy was about as courteous and nice as could be. He cleaned up his mess. I would recommend them to anybody."

"Dan Wilson, Owner, bid the job personally. He is professional and competent. He was one of four bidders. That was 3/31/17. I signed the bid 4/24/17. The weeks in between were spent emailing back and forth to get the written bid. The written bid was the most professionally written of the ones I received. Price wasn't the lowest but comparable and fair. Bid included tear out and replacement of large driveway (3 across), walkway to porch, downspout under walkway, and conduit under driveway. Work started in early June. Dan said he would personally be on the job and he was. All was going well until cement water started coming into my basement. They used water and saws to cut out 4" into the 8" of concrete sitting on top of the foundation wall the garage sits on as I have a suspended garage. In 30 years of business Dan said this has never happened to him before and I believe him. The very next day he had someone at my house cleaning up the mess in my basement. I was (and am) so appreciative. In the midst of the chaos, they missed installing the conduit under the driveway. We didn't learn about this until later. Dan offered to have a landscape company come in and install the conduit under the new drive. We opted not to do this and Dan refunded that part of our money. The drive and walkway look great. As promised, they came back after ten days to power wash and put down a penetrating sealer on the new concrete. We also hired them to power wash our patio, and apply a top sealer with a stain. It has never looked better. A small amount of the color did get on our house. Dan has two sons that work with him that are as professional as they are polite. They do some of the work and are very, very conscientious. I can't say enough good things about the whole family. Once the driveway was in, we had water come into our basement four times between June and October. They tried several approaches to fixing the problem, including a bid from a foundation company. In the end they cut out 4" of concrete across the front of the garage, around the rebar. Then they poured in tar and let it sit a few days. They put in more tar and then replaced the concrete. It has not leaked since. Communication was very, very slow at times but Dan stood behind his work and did what he said he would do. I would not hesitate to hire him again. Its not always what happens but how you handle it that counts."

"The cleaning around the furnace was fine. They gave us a coupon if we had another other problems and the water heater went out. They came back and wanted to replace the water heater. We ended up calling someone else to complete the job and the end result ended up being very minor."

"I called a few weeks ahead of time to schedule an appointment. They called 20 minutes ahead to let me know they were on their way. Showed up, no intro, no handshake, no fluff. All business, not salesy. Randy White measured my house, gave me a drawing with piers, a bid with firm pricing (5% Angies List discount!) and educated me on piers and the process. I was impressed by Randy's knowledge and the fact that he educated me and didn't just "sell" me. Randy is one of only two companies that followed up with me. Several weeks later, after meeting with a total of three companies, I called Randy and he came back out to answer questions and look at the possibility of more work. Randy exhibited the same integrity and knowledge he impressed me with at our first visit. He suggested I didn't need the additional work that was suggested by the other two companies and said we should take a wait-and-see-approach after the 15 recommended piers were installed. His contract was straight forward and I signed that day. Within a week the work was being performed. Four guys and a foreman began hand digging the piering holes in 18 degree weather. They were diligent and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. The only day the did not come, at my recommendation, was the day temperatures were below zero and warnings were issued. We lost less landscaping than originally predicted. The workmen worked hard and expeditiously. They completed the work in 4 days, including 2 piers from the inside of my house. This work could have been a nightmare but, honestly, I have experienced more stress with having a bathroom painted than I did with having my house piered. The condition they left things in was almost as good as it was before the work was done. I would HIGHLY recommend Pro Foundation!

"The owner, John, was prompt at scheduling an appointment and providing an estimate.  John was friendly and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed or that I was wasting his time.  Once we agreed to have ClassiConcrete do the work, I asked John to provide me with a date and estimated start time, so I could plan accordingly.  Despite asking for this date multiple times, John's crew showed up unannounced and uninformed about what the project is they were supposed to doing (they started moving stuff out of the garage).  After I received a call that they were at the house starting the work and cleared up all the confusion, the crew worked did an overall okay job at pouring the new driveway and sidewalk.  However, once I was able to inspect the work, I noticed they had not moved any of the landscaping pavers, but rather just concreted over parts of them.  I called the owner to voice my frustration with the way the job was completed and ask that he propose a solution.  The owner agreed to visit the project review the issue, but then avoid my calls several days.  Ultimately, he finally sent his crews over to fix the issue about 2 weeks later.  While, overall the workmanship was good (other than the oversight of paving part of the landscaping), the lack of communication from the owner was extremely frustrating.
While I might consider hiring ClassiConcrete again, I would have to set all the expectations upfront.  Plus, I would not agree to pay the remaining balance until I was able to inspect and approve the work.

"We aren't completely done with the remodel but I'm getting off Angie's List and wanted to give a review for Done Right before doing so.   We gutted our master bathroom (10x12).  A custom shower is being built, a free-standing tub will go in, knockdown on the ceiling, new vanity, lights, plumbing, flooring, toilet.  It is a huge job. As with any contractor there are pros and cons.  I will try to list them as best I can.

Pros:  We were about to give up hope of finding a good contractor until we found Shawn (owner). By then we had an exact idea of what we wanted the final product to be.  He walked through it with us and was very detailed.  He submitted a bid and we found it reasonable.  Other contractors were outrageously high or so low that their bids didn't make sense either.   I was able to go to several of his projects to preview his work and was very impressed with his attention to detail.  Tile work is his specialty although he does a lot of other work himself (not plumbing or drywall). He subs out other jobs.  His knowledge of remodeling is extensive.  He has foreseen some logistical issues and given alternatives.  He also is very good at helping find suppliers.  He has relationships with cabinet, tile, plumbing manufacturers as well as anything else you need during remodeling.  Because of those relationships, he can get contractor discounts.  He has always come to me to discuss things when there is any doubt or options I should consider.  The work he's done so far has been top notch.  He is also extremely friendly and trustworthy.  He has a key to my home.  A  few misc. things - he donates as much as possible to Habitat for Humanity so we can have a tax deduction.  He lets us do as much work as we want to save money.  When we tore out the bathroom he explained things to be careful of beforehand for our safety.  His bid is listed item by item, labor and materials, so you know every detail of what you're paying for.

Cons:  The biggest con we have are delays.  The most problematic one was that the tile we ordered is on back order.  That wouldn't have been a problem except he started our project anyway so our two to three week project isn't done and it's been a couple months. While he's detail oriented, he also seems to have too many irons in the fire or something at least when it comes to ordering things.  Sometimes he says he is coming and something comes up.  I have a feeling that's pretty common practice among all contractors though. It's hard to write something bad about a guy that overall is really, really good at what he does...just not on time.

Overall, we are happy with Shawn's work.  While the delays have been incredibly frustrating and annoying I am confident that his final result will be worth the wait.  I was able to get exactly what I wanted in this remodel.  His pricing is reasonable but his quality exceptional.   My suggestion if you choose Shawn is for you to take more control over the timing - you make sure all items needed are ready to go before he starts.  I guarantee if you look at his work you will definitely see quality others don't have."
