"They serviced my central air conditioning and forced hot air (gas) for the cheapest out of three quotes I received. The tech was super professional and knowledgeable. They gave an awesome report at the end. Would use again for sure!"

"Service was exceptional, the plumber spent the extra time to talk with the Gas inspector while pulling the permit to make sure everything was done right the first time. He also took the time to explain to me exactly what they we're going to do and why they we're doing it, even went so far as to explain the watch outs for disconnecting & reconnecting the gas line from the stove. Very professional, and the install was very high quality. <br />"

"I called SNHPH to extend a gas pipe from my closet to a new fireplace insert that was being installed. I was overly impressed with their speediness, responsiveness, quality of work, etc. Pricing seemed reasonable. They really went the extra step too, to make sure everything looked cosmetically perfect. Definitely a great company."

"I spoke to Jay Sebastian on the telephone about corrosion on my water pipes. I told him I thought I might need my house re-plumbed. Jay said I probably had a high level of acid and I should consult with a water company. I did this and ended up getting an acid neutralizing system installed. The corrosion issue is gone! Thanks to Jay's advice I probably saved many 1,000's of dollars on a needless re-plumbing job. <br />"

"Excellent!! My oil burning water tank went at 5PM on a Friday. After being told from the plumber that came to my house that they couldn't get a tank for a week and was left with just cold water ( $500 later ) !!!! I decided to go on line and look for other plumbers and referrals . I liked the comments on Live Free Heating and Cooling. My first contact was Jay who patiently worked with me all weekend and answered all my questions plus gave me a quote , which they don't normally do but I was anxious about the cost. Pete and Tyler came to my house Monday morning to verify everything. Tuesday morning Tyler and Brady showed up to do the work, They were very polite and professional yet approachable and left the work place very clean. Being a senior and on a fixed income I was also very pleased to find that financing was also something they offered. I am so pleased with the quality of work and how patient they were with me through the whole process ...Thanks Live Free , Brenda Lambiris."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Rye-beach, NH

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
