"My house is large and I have 2 air conditioners. The upstairs unit completely died and the heat was unbearable. I had several companies come out but their prices were beyond my budget or they couldnt do the work for weeks. I finally found All Star Trade Pros and I was so lucky that I did. They worked with me, gave me a price I could afford, and worked me into a hectic schedule. They explained everything to me in great detail so I knew what I could get, what was available, how it worked and so on. I am not exaggerating to say that All Star's customer service is top notch and way better than most companies i've dealt with in my life. It is so annoying when you end up in such a bad situation, have your a/c go out in Texas and then, can't find a company who honestly cares. I highly recommend All Stars and you will be so happy if you choose to hire them. I promise that you won't be disappointed!!"

"I called them on Saturday about 9:30, and arrived close to noon. Mack was great. Very nice, professional, and informative. The clogg was not easy to remove and was pretty far down the line. We gad already dismantled the pipes under the sink with no luck. He had to work it, but got it done. This house is from 1989, with several previous owners, so the pipes have been abused. He recommended a line power wash if clogg happens again given that he did get grease out from down the line. He applied my 10% off Angie's list coupon."

"The manifolds at the water heater and the under the hall bathroom lavatory sink were re-configured to accept the new line. A new and frac34;” PEX line was run from the water heater, which is located in the garage, through the attic space and down the hall bathroom interior wall, and re-connect to the manifold underneath the hall bathroom lavatory sink. A shut valve was installed at the water heater, in order to be able to turn the newly installed line off, if needed. The new line was insulated, as well as, secured in place completing the repair. It took 5 hours to complete this task. <br /> Only thing I did not like was on leak detection day, the guy injected air in the system (water line) as a result water started to come up through master bedroom floor. It took 3 days for carpet to dry out. <br /> <br />"

"Jeff Blount and his crew are a great experience. They put a camera down our drain and found a belly in the pipe under the floor. They then mapped out the exact location. Not only did they tell us the location but also the degree of the slope in the belly. These guy's know what they're doing and how to repair it with a degree of professionalism unseen other places. Don't hesitate, call and your problems are on the mend."

"Was able to get in for car repair same day I called. They worked on my truck while I waited inside. Very professional, friendly and efficient. I have had all of my car and truck repair done at Freddies and always am satisfied with work they do. Will return for new hoses on truck soon. You can feel confident when they are working on your vehicle. I used to do all of the car and truck repair myself but getting older made me find a really good business like Freddies with confidence."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Salado, TX

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
