"The technician came out to give free estimate and was on time but after a fairly brief examination of the leaking faucet gave us an estimate of $600 to repair the leak. Since this was quite a bit above our budget I decided to pull the cartridge out myself and look for a replacement. The tech was kind enough to point out where the shutoff for the water was located so that I could safely do this . When I opened the faucet up and removed the cartridge I took it down to Home Depot which has a nice selection of these items. Unfortunately they didn't have one like mine but when I looked at it more closely I could see that it was really only the rubber seal at one end that had been worn down. This was the source of the leak. I found a little package of these rings that fit my cartridge and this cost me a little less than $4. I installed a new one and put everything back together. It has worked just fine wiith no dripping for about 10 days now. I doubt if I could have done this all myself so I have to give credit where it is due to both the tech from Point Loma Electric and the person at Home Depot who also gave me some advice."

So after spending many hours looking at whole house systems we felt the split air system was the way to go as we are just two people in a two story home so with the split air system we only need to cool the part of the house we are using at that time. After calling several companys out for a quote which they were quick to come to our home and give us the sales talk. All seemed to push and want to sign quick except Bob Jenson. This sales person took the time to talk to us and gave us all the information and did not push us. In fact Bob Jenson stood head and shoulders above the rest and even more than that they are local. Now the big install time came (OH MY WHAT DID WE GET INTO) both the wife and my self were so worried what was going to happen now? Well all of that went away very quick. A large crew came and not only were they clean and so respectful of our home and our property and our pet Cat. This company cares about the little people (us). At every point of the install was right on target. They had the parts required at our home on time and nothing missing or had to run off to another Job site which we have had happen in the past with other companys. After they get your money they just seem to fade off, Not Bob Jenson. They were **** ** the Job from day one to the point the system was up and running. This is truley a 5 star company. And there is more, these people do not stop and fade into the wood work. They stay on the job 24/7. We got there service Contract and was that ever a good thing for retired people such as the Hanson's. And who made this part of the Bob Jenson experance so wonderful and on going. That would be a young man that is so sharp and hard working for the company? That would be Jeremy Zavala. What ever he is being paid is not enough. Hear that Bob J? This worker of yours is so good and has so sold us on your company we are sticking with you as long as you keep Jeremy. He checks our system out every 6-M and we are going to stay with you. During this last very hot summer our home was wonderfull. Thank you Bob Jenson and most of all you Jeremy - your company has made my life so much better during our hot times - and you take the worry out of my 80 year old mind. Harold Hanson"

"On initial inspection, they discovered that our old heat registers were the kind with asbestos (house built in the 60's), so they had to sub out the abatement part of the job. Once abatement was complete, the workers showed up each day at the time they said they would arrive. They were all friendly and professional. They kept everything clean. The took pictures in the attic to show me before, during, and after the work. They explained what they were doing and showed me the new ducting they were installing (quiet ducts) and explained the more "up-to-date" way of putting in the duct work than what we had. After the work was complete, we noted that the furnace ran much quieter (due to new ducting), and it ran WAY less often. The house stayed much warmer while running the furnace much less often. Best of all, our gas bill dropped! Now that we're moving into summer, the house seems to be staying cooler on these warm days. We don't have A/C so we're hoping the new insulation will keep the house cooler as the days continue to warm up. Very happy with the company and all the work they did. I would recommend them!"
