I have been a licensed plumbing contractor and business owner since 2010, and a licensed general contractor since 2018. My experience in the trades dates back to 2001, and I have owned and operated a plumbing and HVAC service company since 2010.\n\nWhen you hire Water Safe Construction, you are not getting a service technician or employee—you are working directly with a licensed contractor and company owner. I personally handle the diagnosis and repair of your plumbing and HVAC systems.\n\nI take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring complete customer satisfaction on every project.

"Luis and his team were quick, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Luis would keep in contact with me daily to let me know exactly what was being done. All new piping under the house and cleaned out septic tank in less than a week. You can see that they like what they do. Good customer service. Highly recommend!!! Thank you for your work!!"

"My Personal experience with this company was that their staff and products were top notch! They truly delivered as promised with great work that was very competitively priced!! I found them to be an extremely honest company who stand behind their work, they explained everything in great detail and we’re very patient with my wife who had numerous questions far above the average inquiry ....which she usually does anytime we have a large fiscal expense.Several of my business associates have also used this company and are extremely pleased! My family wishes to Thank you for the awesome system, we feel so much better knowing and feeling our water is finally free of all those harsh chemicals!!!"

"It was fine, There was no real issue during the work, but we had a little leakage only after the work was done. I did follow up with the company. They came up, repaired, and completed the work. The owner communicated with the secretary to compensate us with the damaged cabinets."

"they filled in the old septic tank and took out two citrus trees . We finnally decided we didn't need a saw to cut them just strength to carry them to the front . It is still rocky where they filled it in and we haven't planted grass. we may need some good black dirt . too bad that wasn't in with the project . the sand is rocky so not really sure. The once a year treatment, we will oi call , I am glad it only took a day. there was something stuck in the pipes because would have put this project off for a while but found out after.he said c and c would be there but we called . because toilet wouldn't flush at all. after they put septic"

"I had turned the water off behind the toilet to stop the leak so the plumber really did not get a chance to see for sure where it was so he found a small leak in the overflow for the tub and thought that was my problem. I turned the water back on to the toilet and there is moisture again today he will return this afternoon. I think they seem reasonable very easy to work with and overall a very good company. They also accepted a coupon I had printed off for another company and I really appreciated that, I will use them again. In the future I should not turn the water off so they can see how much and where the water is coming from, but being an upstairs apt I am really careful about water leaks, I do not want to flood my neighbors."

FAQs for septic system repair projects in Sarasota, FL

You should have your septic tank inspected at least once every one to three years. Regular inspections help catch minor issues before they become major problems, ensuring your system operates efficiently and extends its lifespan. You can also have your pro take care of routine septic system maintenance tasks at the same time as your inspection.

A septic tank must be inspected before buying a home to ensure the system is sound and compliant with local regulations. A comprehensive inspection evaluates all critical components and detects hidden faults that could lead to expensive repairs. This detailed review protects your investment by verifying the system’s integrity and reliability.

A septic tank's leach field fails when it encounters system overload and deteriorating conditions. Excess water usage beyond the field’s capacity and environmental stress lead to hydraulic failure. Aging infrastructure and insufficient maintenance further contribute to failure. Distributing water use evenly and scheduling regular maintenance, including enzyme treatments when necessary, preserve the leach field’s integrity.

A septic system lasts between 20 and 30 years. Steel tanks function for 15 to 20 years, concrete tanks operate for 20 to 40 years, and fiberglass or plastic tanks remain durable for 30 to 40 years. Consistent maintenance, including regular pumping and inspections, extends these lifespans by preventing buildup and structural damage, ensuring reliable long-term performance.

A failing septic system presents clear signs such as slow-draining fixtures, foul odors at or around the leach field, and overly green patches of grass. Additional indicators include persistent toilet flushing problems, standing water near the system, and noticeable gurgling noises from pipes. These symptoms reveal blockages, structural damage, or leaks. Immediate professional evaluation is essential to address these issues and prevent extensive repair costs.
