"We bought a home that unfortunately had 2 units over 20 years old. We received a letter and coupon from Service Star for annual maintenance (addressed to previous owner). We had not been having any issues with our AC but thought maintenance was pretty important, especially with summer coming. Louis came out on Tuesday, April 28th and did a thorough inspection of our units. He was very friendly, engaging and we felt confident and convinced that he was quite knowledgeable in this field. Turns out there were big issues with our unit including the huge mold issue, coil issue, fire hazard issues, etc. (yikes!). Our units were working pretty hard and getting pretty hot and there was zero efficiency going on. Basically, the life of our units had come to an end. We opted to replace the units and he gave us a pretty good deal which included upgrading the digital thermostats (pretty awesome!). My husband is a vet so there was a nice discount I appreciated how he explained everything to us and outlined what replacing the units entailed. We were pleasantly surprised that they had the units available and could start the work that day! There was a two-person crew that came in around 3:30 and was completely done and cleaned up by 10:30 pm. No small project. They were professional, competent and worked diligently to completion. We were quite impressed and what a big difference in the quality of air! We can say enough good things about Service Star, we definitely recommend them for all HVAC needs. GREAT job Service Star. "Leading Air and Heat is fantastic! They are very fast, efficient and HONEST! My ceiling had a crack in it and come to find out, it was a condensation problem with some of the A/C duct work. The cover on the insulation was torn up and It had caused the insulation to absorb water, which put pressure on the ceiling causing the crack. I found this out because I had a company out to repair the crack in the ceiling and smooth out my ceiling. When they pulled down the part of the ceiling that was cracked, they discovered soaking wet insulation. I had gotten an estimate from another company. The other company told me I needed to replace ALL of the duct work. He said it was all in terrible condition. I received an estimate for $5,200.00! He deducted the $79 I had paid the evening before when they had sent someone out who couldn’t even get up in the crawl space, so the actual quote was for $4,923. That $79 was for a “service call”. Since I had already looked up replacing the existing duct work to see what I should expect to pay, this estimate was more in line with a brand new initial install of duct work for a brand new system, not just replacing existing ducts. It was more than double the price I had anticipated, and I was figuring high. I went on Angi right away so I could get a second opinion. Leading Air and Heat contacted me right away. Michael, who is the owner, came out within an hour or so after that initial contact. He climbed up in the crawl space and took a quick look around. He said everything looked pretty good except for the area at issue. He didn’t charge me to come out and my estimate was far less than 10% of what the other company tried to charge me. The repair was done the very next morning by Richie. He was on time and very efficient. He’s super respectful and nice as well! I asked him if he could take another look around to see if there are any others we should take care of soon and he did find one other duct that probably should be replaced since there are some tears in it. It’s not quite as bad as the one that I had repaired and is not leaking or anything, but it would be a good idea to replace it before there is any trouble with it. He took pictures of it and I will be sent an estimate on that one so it can be repaired before it causes damage like the first one did. I highly recommend Leading Air and Heat. They do great work quickly and are honest, which is extremely important, especially these days. I will be calling them for all of my air and heat needs going forward."

"Kris is Amazing! He came over and fixed AC that others deemed, done. Kris came on the same day and spent considerable amount of time to diagnose, step by step, until he found true causes. He got a missing part within an hour, and came back to finish the repair. Our system was back up and running soon thereafter. He made sure all the levels had perfect readings - pressure, cooling temp etc. Kris is very skillful, knowledgeable, honest, hardworking, and he is curious about the true case of the issues. What makes Kris and his company stand out amongst other AC contractors is that he actually enjoys fixing things and trying to find out the true case of the problem and he gets the job done! He is polite, punctual, very pleasant, intelligent, kind, humble and compassionate. He provides you with the best solution for the repair estimate and advice, and, if by any chance, your parts are not available due to not being in stock or your system is old and being phased out he will try very hard to make sure you have options to get your home comfortable. He gives you an estimate for new system (if you are interested) if all other options to get your AC running fail. There are no sales tactics. If you are in a situation where your system failed and you are on a budget, or new system is not an option due to financial issues you need to contact him as he will find the best solution for you. If you are already considering another contractor I strongly suggest to call Kris for a second opinion. You will save yourself a lot of problems as he will honestly tell you what is going on with your system. Beware of contractors with many positive reviews. Not all of them are what you hope to get. Many consider keeping their ratings at the high levels the top priority and will do anything to achieve that. Remember that when hiring those with high number of positive reviews. Often their service prices are double of the average, techs are rushing through jobs. This also matters if you choose to have a new system installed as you must consider service rates for your maintenance or repair costs. Another reason to contact Kris is if you need a new system. Remember, you dont have to pay 10k - 15+k per average size system. He will provide you with different options, for different budgets. His company offers financing. I honestly wish I had met Kris many years ago. A lot of problems can be prevented if you choose a right company. Moore's Air and Heat is a right choice. Many talk about integrity. Kris doesnt talk about it, he has it."

"Nate and Craig came out today to do a routine service check of my HVAC system. Eveything went well and the system is in great shape for our upcoming hot summer. Nate and a crew came out a year ago for a large problem. They quickly diagnosed a freon leak but could not find it as it must have been in the slab. They ran the new copper line thru the attic and down to the inside unit and placed an aluminum covered over the copper feon tube. This company is awesome! They are professional, friendly, and explain things so that even I can understand. The pricing was fantastic for the amount of work they had to do in 95+ temperatures. AC All Stars Space Coast is the only company I will ever use for my HVAC needs."

"The AC drain pipe was cleaned mechanically, to stop the AC from leaking water in the garage. Useful maintenance information was provided, as well as the offer of further maintenance service. Because an external plastic drain pipe had a leak and was left with the leak not fixed, I have to rate the work as 3.5 stars instead of five-star."
