"Ben Sullivan and his team were FANTASTIC!
They put on a beautiful roof and did not damage any of the plantings around the house. Ben's quote came in below the
other 2 companies we received quotes from and they completed all the work on
time. They also replaced 5 windows and they did a great job replacing the
rotten cedar and staining the interior wood to match the other windows in the
house. They cleaned and vacuumed every day before leaving the house.
Additionally, we have a cedar-sided house and they stripped and re-caulked the
siding and did a really nice job matching up the caulk color and being
thorough!
Ben is a great guy and a perfectionist; the guys he employs are equally great
and professional. I trusted them in my house, i appreciated Ben's suggestions
for alternative ideas (incidentally, we adopted his suggestions and am thankful
we did), and cannot say enough about the quality and ease of working with

"JJB Home Improvements (Jeff, Joe and crew) did an outstanding job on our chimney repair. We had a small water leak in our interior attic. JJB responded quickly and professionally by setting up scaffolding for our 112 year old home. 3 stories high! No problem for JJB. They repaired the old brick, caulked, applied a skim stucco coat, then a finish stucco coat, then painted to match with elastomeric paint. We even replaced the 3 chimney caps with more decorative and functional caps. JJB was extremely professional, on time, and communicated every step of the way. "I think he was very honest. We did like him. He gave us an honest opinion of the situation. We ran into some hiccups, so we are putting off doing any restoration to our chimney at this time. Otherwise, we would have called him back to do the work. He was very prompt. They were here within a day or two of my husband calling. They sent the estimate withing a couple of days of coming out to look at it."

"Panda was not very dependable.  Project was to be completed by August 15, 2011.  Window was not installed until mid October
2011.  We had to employ another handyman to complete the work the Panda people were supposed to do but did not.  Panda was hard to contact, and slow to respond."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
